What a great experience! This shop is a well-oiled machine and John is a very talented artist. I was comfortable with everything from beginning to end and have a really great tattoo! I highly recommend booking your next tattoo (or first!) at Tattooed Heart Studios. I can't wait to go back!

Everything about my experience at Tattooed Heart was both personal and professional. I had done a lot of research, which had brought me to this shop. I was immediately drawn to the artistry and philosophy of the owner, John.
The shop itself is stunning. It provides you with many different things visually , while still being a stylish and comfortable space. It was impeccably clean. Every staff person was friendly.
John could not have been easier to work with, and helped bring to life a memorial piece for me. The intricacy and different levels of his work are exquisite. Looking at the tattoo from a distance Its beauty is clear, but when you view it up close the mastery of his craft is undeniable.
This shop is about creating the best experience for it's clientele, and it met that goal.
I drove over 3 hours one way to get there, and plan on doing so again.

I love being part of a day at Tattooed Heart! All of the artists are extremely welcoming and make you feel at home from the moment you walk in. I just had my second eight hour session with Amy N. and once again I was floored by her professionalism and skill! She is deeply passionate about her craft and has created something for me that is beyond what I even imagined it could be. She truly makes your time in the shop something special and a great expierence. I have one session left on my current piece, but already looking forward to working with Amy and Tattooed Hearts on my next project. Would recommend this studio to anyone that wants a great experience from conception to completion.

My experience with Andrea Jensen at Tattooed Heart Studios changed how I live my life.
I had been thinking about a scar cover up for over 10 years but was scared and didn’t know how I wanted it to look. Andrea worked with me to create something meaningful and beautiful while making sure I was comfortable through the entire process, both during the design and sitting through two sessions. I can’t imagine a better (or cleaner!) experience for my first tattoo.
I now have the confidence to show my arms in public. I receive tons of complements. People don’t believe me when I tell them it’s a cover up.
Working with Andrea made me feel like I can move forward rather than have my appearance holding me back. I can’t wait to have her work on my other arm.

I've had the pleasure of being tattooed in several shops in Maryland, and Tattooed Heart is by far the most impressive. The location is gorgeous and big- very clean, welcoming, and easy to relax in. I worked with Andrea Jensen- Andrea was professional and very easy to work with. She's an incredible artist and creates really wonderful pieces specifically designed to make her clients happy. Everyone is complimenting my bee tattoo everywhere I go and I can't stop recommending her!

I had the pleasure of getting tattooed by Natalie this past weekend. I was so happy to finally make it in after a few months of waiting, planning, and prepping. Natalie's work is impeccable and she gets in the absolute zone when tattooing. She is a master of this craft and I would highly recommend letting her guide the way in a tattoo. I love my piece and I'm so happy she was flexible and accommodating in bringing my new piece to life.

The location itself is a bit funky and out of the way, but the extra drive is worth it. I drove in from Philadelphia and I was happy to not have the extra hassle of parking. The rooms are personal, private, and comfortable. They have snacks on hand and generally a nice overall ambiance. I would highly recommend this studio!!

I love tattoos as an art form and have been going to shops since the late 80’s. I have seen the progression from biker / gang subculture to mainstream. I research concepts and artists for years ensuring I have the correct vision and artist to best bring my concept to life.
Tattooed Heart is the next level tattoo shop. All of the artist have the experience to be confident in their styles and are honest enough say if your project does not fit their strengths. The whole staff was down to earth and were genuinely interested in the projects each artist was working on.
I had the pleasure of getting my tattoo done by Amy Nicholls. Her talent is obvious when you review her portfolio, but the other half of the experience is the artist themselves. Amy is a soulful person who has a profound connection with her clients. She was able to take my four different concepts and weave them into a fine tapestry that now covers my left arm.
Sadly, I am done getting any new work for the near future but I look forward to following the future projects from Amy and the rest of the Tattooed Heart crew.

Tattooed Heart Studios is beautiful. It is spotless and very private. I can not say enough great things about my tattoo experience here. I was tattooed by John, who created my design. I received a warm welcome and a full consultation upon arrival by John. I was thoroughly educated on my tattoo aftercare before leaving, walking out with the healing product that I needed. The energy in this studio and in John's work (even under the gun) was soothing. Awesome vibes from other artists here. Such a unique and professional experience, Tattooed Heart Studios will far exceed any expectation you have when looking for an artist and studio.

I have a lot of tattoos and I have been to many tattoo studios but Tattooed Heart really stands out in my opinion. The shop is super clean and has a great vibe. You can tell that all of the artists care deeply for their studio and you can see their little touches throughout. I had the pleasure of getting tattooed by Andrea and it was a wonderful experience. Andrea took my very basic idea for a tattoo and created something that was better than anything I could have imagined. Andrea made me feel so at ease and she went above and beyond to accommodate my physical limitations. I absolutely love my tattoo from Andrea and I can't wait to get my next one! I highly recommend Andrea!

Tattooed Heart is the best shop I have been too thus far. It's beautiful and very inviting. Everyone on staff are all super friendly down to earth and chill people. I've been going to see their apprentice, now artist, Meredith for a few months now and she is amazing. She's obviously had a good group of people to learn from. Its been a lot of fun getting to know her and watching her grow in her craft. I now have four pieces by her and plan on many many more.
