I don't normally do reviews but this place deserve one, OK?! I am very particular about who I let tattoo me and quality of the space I receive a tattoo in. Some of the reviews I've read just don't add up to the quality of this place. All the artist were very nice when entering, communication from the very start was nothing less than amazing. I was sent reminders and even notified that I could get my tattoo earlier since an opening had come available. My Artist Satch (Eric), was accommodating to my ideas, made sure I was comfortable, offered water and great conversation. The shop has multiple TV's for you to watch and music to help you relax. Also the shop was kept clean and orderly, after each tattoo I watched artist wipe down seats and re-wrap pillows. After multiple tattoos and visits - 10/10 - I would recommend this shop to my grandmother!

I enjoyed my first visit there! Erik was very professional and was ready immediately once I came in. They were super hospitable and even got me a bagel to eat during my 5 hour session. It was clean and great conversation. I will come back for my next tattoo

I cannot say enough about how absolutely AMAZING Erick and his staff are. I was originally referred by a friend who had gotten both sleeves done and I have to say I will literally never go anywhere else. His assistant, Shelby, is great. She's always responded promptly to any inquiries I've had. Erick does AMAZING work He understood exactly what I was asking for and went bend what even I expected. I am constantly getting inquiries about where I went for my shoulder pieces. I was so impressed, in fact, that my son got his first tattoo there and we will both be returning in the near future. Even if you can't get a session with Erick, all of the other artists there do AMAZING work as well- so you really can't go wrong booking anyone at the studio.

The work looks phenomenal but your tattoo idea has to be good enough for the owner to accept otherwise he “politely declines”. I get they’re busy but to actually turn a customer down who’s willing to spend $1000 to get work done is incredibly unprofessional. Not only will I not “try one of their other artists” but I will make sure to tell anyone who asks me about tattoos (which is a lot since I have about 70) not to go there. I recommend trying a place that values all customers not just the ones who’s tattoos are cool enough for the satchmoe.

Shelby is the best. Very charismatic and extremely helpful. She got me the exact results I wanted. Kishor is an amazing tattoo artist. Patient, precise, and consistent. 10/10 recommend.

I'm elated with my very first tattoo! If I could give Erick 10 stars I would! I had THE best experience! From the start of the process, when I initially reached out with questions, I could feel the professionalism in the interactions with his assistant. I was afraid of the pain, however, she made a recommendation which definitely helped. On the date of my tattoo, Erick took additional time to review my design to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. His studio does have a great vibe. Professionalism, positivity and laughter is what I experienced. I am hooked! Already thinking about my next tat! Thank you Erick and staff for helping me through this experience! ;-)

I've had work done by several artists in the DMV, and this is by far the best. Vanessa brings my ideas to life. She's talented and so creative. The shop is clean and comfortable. My go to and would 100% recommend!

I would never give 1 star because the Eriks work is phenomenal. I did not give 5 stars because the artist accepted my idea(month ago ) , I was allowed to book, and when I inquired and specified what I wanted hours later the assistant emailed and stated that he “ politely declined” (month later). My deposit was returned. Assistant suggested that I check out the other artist in the shop. If I wanted to go to one of the others, I would’ve booked otherwise. I was excited that I was chosen to end up disappointed. If social media wasn’t around booking with ppl would be so much easier.

This place is a hidden gem in DMV. This place gives you the essence of what poetic artistry of tattoo is. Vanessa did my first tattoo and all I can say is that- why didn't I get it before!! She did this gorgeous first tattoo for me. She was very helpful to make sure I get the design with much detail I wanted. I also wanted a unique artist touch and she changed the design to her unique imagination. The whole process was simple and easy. I have done my due diligence and you can't find a rock solid option for your tattoo better than this place. Thank you for serving this community with your creativeness.
