Praying Mantis Tattoo Studio

I was searching for months before I came upon this shop, it is super conveniently located and had really good reviews so I checked out the artists, sent an email and was responded to the next day. Mike did my art and he is so beyond talented. I wanted someone to be able to capture my dog perfectly and he did just that. It is exactly what I wanted in my first tattoo. I definitely will be coming here in the future.

I got my first tattoo here. The place itself is very nice and clean but the tattoo itself is mainly why I’m leaving a review. My artist was Matt and he did a phenomenal job. He worked with me to get the design exactly how I wanted it down to the little details. He made sure I was comfortable the entire time and also was very understanding that I didn’t know the entire process seeing as it was my first time. His line work is amazing and he made sure to get the coloring to look perfect. For a first tattoo I’m very satisfied with it and extremely grateful for the extra time he took to make me happy with it. I would highly recommended this place to anyone wanting to get a tattoo.

I have gotten multiple tattoos from Mark now, it has always been a wonderful experience. He is very clean and professional and I am definitely booking with him again :)

Mark has done two of my tattoos now and im so in love with his work! Cant wait to have more done by him!

Kyra was so wonderful--she made me feel relaxed and like my design and how I felt about my tattoo were important. She was really nice to chat with and supportive when I needed to take a short break to reset during our session. The whole space is clean, professional, and bright and it was a really positive experience!

Matt is amazing to work with and does even more amazing artwork! I've had 2 tattoos done by him so far and plan on many more!

I can’t recommend Calla enough! I will follow her wherever she goes, she does incredible work. Fine line is super trendy right now and her work sticks around! Healed very well, she’s very light handed and a very fun person to talk to and have tattoo you. I will recommend her to the moon and back!

I drove an hour and a half to get a tattoo done by Casey and I was not disappointed! She was able to do exactly what I wanted while personalizing it so it could flow along my body better. (Most of it was hand sketched on so there was better movement too!) She was extremely friendly and was very thorough with the tattoo to make sure I absolutely loved it.

The shop itself was spotless and felt a lot homier than other shops I have been in, which definitely helps my nerves since it can look/feel intimidating.

There wasn’t an immediate response initially, but that’s expected from popular artist since their inboxes probably get pretty flooded. It definitely helps to message a second time, but I booked through a form when she updated her Instagram and I was able to get in!

The studio was clean, welcoming, and cozy! I worked with Calla and she is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She was so easy to work with and I am SO happy with how my butterfly tattoo turned out. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend!

**Update: I went to another artist this month (Kyra) and they were also amazing! Seriously can't recommend this shop enough
