Called this place to get a tattoo because it seems to be the only one around Petoskey that looks decent. I was told that I needed to make a deposit. That’s it. I gave them my info and they set me up for last week at 5. I informed them that my work schedule is very busy and erratic. They said no problem call a couple hours beforehand and let us know if you can make it. I did exactly that, they couldn’t accommodate me coming at 5:30 instead of 5 because their artist had an appointment at 6:30. Mind you the tattoo I am getting is about the size of a thumb.
Fast forward, I call them today to see if they have availability as it is my last day in town. They of course do not, so I say no problem. What did you charge me for a deposit? Let’s get the refund going if you charged me. The girl apologizes and says, I remember you, i should have told you it’s non refundable, I just assumed you knew. Mind you, this is my first time ever in Petoskey. I don’t know your shop rules. Even still, they won’t refund for their own negligence. It’s not about the money, it’s the principle. But if they need to keep 50$ from someone who’s literally never been to their shop before and spoke with them twice via phone, then keep it while it’s still in your account. Would love for “Cody” or whoever owns this place to actually reach and give an explanation.

just got my nose done there less than a month ago , and since i didn’t eat before hand i ended up getting sick. the staff gave me ice packs, trail mix, and water and made me feel comfortable the whole entire time. not to mention my nose has healed WONDERFULLY thanks to the piercer who did it 🙂

Thanks guys. Calm, knowledgeable, patient and logical. Resulting in me getting my labret pierced instead of my septum. As my nose isn't designed for that. Would gave been nice to have had you two present when I originally had it pierced in the UK 20 year's ago.

. dude this place was just all around uncomfortable. nobody there to greet at the front, didn’t feel clean or comfortable. just needed a new piece of jewelry and she recommended i go to meijer?? also the front being a tile store was just confusing. glad I live down state and can go to a professional shop. also no one was wearing a mask and didn’t offer to put one on when she spoke to me. boo.
