I got my first tattoo from big top, and they were so professional. Since it was on my outer forearm i had to lay down, but i was very comfortable. I always hear stories of people being uncomfortable.

I honestly never write reviews. But I felt I had to let others know my story. I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s ever received A tattoo that they were unhappy with, because a artist "claimed" they can do it and afterwards you find out they couldn’t. And here you are left with a tattoo you’re just so unhappy with. So that being said, for many years I was extremely leery to ever get another tattoo again. And today I happened to stop in Big Top Tattoo. SO GLAD I DID! I really gotta say that not only is that place so welcoming, friendly, kind, Polite, clean, and just has such caring staff that they are all so talented and patient with each client. I’m pleased to say that I had a VERY TALENTED AMAZING ARTIST named Loaf and I walked out with a absolutely beautiful tattoo that I’m VERY HAPPY WITH along with my son who also got one from Loaf. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM AND I PROMISE YOU you’ll be one happy person with his amazing talent and art. I’m beyond excited I finally found a place and the perfect tattoo artist. What a relief.... I can’t thank him enough. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BIG TOP TATTOO💯

My friend recommended going here and seeing Mark to get my tattoos done and I am so happy that I did. Mark did a amazing job on both of my tattoos. He is super friendly and gives off a very calm and fun energy so you won't be nervous at all about getting a tattoo. Also the whole shop is clean and everyone there is super friendly. I highly recommend going here for your tattoos.

Best shop I’ve been to period, but definitely the best shop in Michigan for sure. Getting my second piece done by Dan and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of his work and the atmosphere of the shop he runs. Anyone you get work done with in his shop does a fantastic job. This is the only shop I recommend to my friends and family and highly recommend it for anyone looking to get solid ink put into their body.

Got my most recent tattoo here from Tessa. I have 3 others and can definitely say this one was the best experience I have had yet! I came as a walk in with an idea and Tessa sketched out the perfect tattoo for me. She recommended small changes to the design to ensure that it would still look clean a few years down the road. It was nice to hear how much they cared about really doing good quality work! I will certainly be returning here for any future tattoos!

I could not say better things about my experience here. I just got a forearm piece done by Lorne and it turned out better than I could have imagined. He's got a gentle hand and he's swift! We covered the inside of a my forearm with a lioness and cub and he completed the whole thing with incredible detail in about 3.5 hours. I do have a high pain tolerance but not lying when I say that I was barely uncomfortable during the entire tattoo. I have my other forearm done as well and the piece he did had more outline and more shading and it hurt significantly less. Not only that but he's good company too. The entire shop was friendly and just a good vibe. Wish I could go back tomorrow and finish the half sleeve. Can't wait to have him add to it!

Loaf did a small peice on my chest. I was surprised when he said it was done already, but it was perfect. The cleanest lines, which is why i went to him in the first place. I'll be back for my next one for sure.

Big top is a very clean shop. All the artist are really good. Dan Rick did a Japanese bodysuit on me. It is flawless. Every time I went for my appointment I felt comfortable and the shop is a lot of fun. I highly recommend Big Top tattoo. Dan Rick is an amazing artist.

100% recommend this place!! My mom and I walked in just inquiring about getting our first tattoo. They were so accommodating and did it for us on the spot! One of the artists, Loaf drew up exactly what we wanted, changed/tweaked accordingly and made it PERFECT! We both were super nervous and he made us feel completely comfortable! This was our first and definitely not our last!! Love Loaf! 🤘🏼🖤

My name Is Nick, My Fiance and I came in here to get tattoos as walk-ins on a Sunday as they were still pretty busy, we got a consultation from Mark(The Owner) they couldn't take us that second but Mark had us leave our number, we left thinking that we wouldn't ever get a call back at all to come on back once they were done(we were more than welcome to wait for someone to be available for a walk in). They gave us a call same day and we came back in and were able to get fairly reasonable sized tattoos for reasonable prices. The work was really well done, My Fiance got writing on her left arm and I got this fun awesome Black Widow. Both tattoos were done by Loaf, and all the artist there were awesome. I was recommended to this place by my friend and I would definitely reccommend this place to anyone else looking to get some quality work done. They're all awesome funny people and it was a great experience for a first time tattoo for myself. THANK YOU.
