Dark Matter Tattoo

Saddened by experience. Had appointment with Steven for 5, possibly 6 tattoos all for my sisters birthday that was made well aware. All tats and descriptions given prior. Family travelled an hour to arrive and there was nothing prepared. Steven did not have anything to present. The young woman at the front, with said 'artist', lied even tho she had no idea the contents given to the extent of an attitude that was not warranted based on her lack of knowledge. In my 25 years experience of being tattooed by various artists, i've never had such a horrible experience. Its family tradition, as discussed with Steven, to have family tats on my sister birthday, after dispute on the most disrespectful, unprofessional setting, Steven did provide a refund for the deposits, however, ruining my sisters birthday by complete disappointment. An artist should always present their work and not give excuses as to why nothing is prepared. That says, there is no appreciation for the business or their work. Steven even went out on a smoke break...after telling us he had nothing ready... that is very disrespectful!

Dark Matter is awesome, Eric does quality like no other, I would recommend him to everyone that wants fine art and a top of the line Tattoo. He did a great job on my tat and I will definitely be going back for more . Great job Eric and thanks again.

Had Marcus do my work, he was super super helpful and really made me feel safe and comfortable. Made my first tat a fantastic memory, not to mention did so much better than i could imagine. 10/10 recommend and will return.

Dark Matter is one of the cleanest, coolest shops I've been to! Had just stopped in to review what could be done on an old tattoo and was promptly greeted by Steven Kish. He had an idea of what to do and offered to do it without an appointment. Steve is a super talented artist and we had a great conversation while he was working. I left much of the design up to him and was not disappointed! The shop has a cool vibe and I would recommend Dark Matter and Steven to anyone!

The shop is clean and artist's do good work but this was honestly some of the worst customer service experiences ive had with a tattoo shop. My friend was promised a touch up after paying almost $400 for a peice and they have yet to return any calls or make any effort to work with scheduling it even months later. When I went in for my tattoo, the artist was somewhat irritable when I had input on placing and was not impressionable. I most likely will not return to this shop just from feeling unwelcomed and somewhat as bother to them.

All of the artists are friendly and very helpful. Each are willing to work with you to make sure you get everything you would want in a tattoo. They cover every style and excel in all areas. I am very impressed with their individuality, attention to detail, and excellence in customer service. I would recommend everyone go to Dark Matter for any future tattoos.

Steven has been tattooing me for the last several years and I wouldn't have it any other way. I get compliments all the time. He respects the ideas I bring to him and makes them even better than I imagined.

Marcus took time out of his own Father’s Day to do a tattoo for my boyfriend that was extremely special to him. Thank you so much he loved his birthday gift.
