I would absolutely recommend Divine Tattoo for those that want actual quality for their ink. Brooke did a fantastic job with my tattoo and her line work has turned heads on many people who enjoy and have tattoos. She is skilled and efficient with your time and the outcome is very impressive! The shop is super clean, the artists are very nice and professional. Each time I've been there, I have been greeted at the door and made to feel comfortable; a quality that has unfortunately been lost in the business world. While their prices are higher than some, you definitely get what you pay for. Quality work for a reasonable price! Thanks Divine and a special thank you to Brooke!!

Brooke hands down does amazing flower work!! Sad to admit but I used my daughter as the test subject before coming in for my own tattoo. We made an appointment with Brooke for my daughter to get a tattoo covered. She did an amazing job. After seeing her artwork I reached out to her to get one. Mine was on the smaller side and I was informed upfront that she doesn’t take appointments for smaller tattoos but does keep Sunday’s open for walk-ins.
WOW they are a busy place! But that is a reflection of their quality work. When we walked in we were greeted right away, informed it would be a long wait. Everyone was very friendly. I wanted Brooke to be my artist but could also see she was being pulled back and forth between tattoos and piercings. I mention this because I told one of the artist I would take first artist if Brooke was going to be out longer than others. I was impressed with the artist telling me she would be best for what I was wanting. I’m very appreciative that he didn’t attempt to tattoo me if he felt someone else would be better suited. The wait was long but so worth it! She did an amazing job on a tattoo very meaningful to me! She was so sweet, listened to what I wanted and captured it! A beautiful purple marigold for my very special granddaughter who spent 101 days in NICU before graduating home! Thank you so much Brooke for the tattoo that is so meaningful to me! She’s a true professional! I will definitely go back to her for any future tattoos!

My boyfriend and I took his daughter in for her first tattoo for her 18th and we had Jesse. He did a great job, he worked quick and clean and the tattoo came out perfect. It was overall a great experience and someone and someplace we will go back to. 😊👍👍👍

Divine is an amazing place to get tattooed or pierced. I’ve been going to Brooke for years. She’s always been professional and accommodating and a pleasure to chat with. That doesn’t even take into account her incredible artistic ability. She’s turned every concept I’ve had into an amazing piece. And she’s only one of the great artists here. Every time I walk into their shop, I’m treated like an old friend returning home again. I recommend anyone looking for tattoos or piercings to go to Divine.

About a year ago, I had Cheyenne tattoo my forearm. It was an awesome experience and Cheyenne did a fantastic job. The design was originally all black, but I told him I didn't want any black on it and just a bunch of fun, cool temperature colors. He picked out several colors and created a masterpiece!I love my tattoo and the shop has several extremely talented artists. I'm getting ready to graduate from grad school in May and my present to myself is going to be another tattoo from Cheyenne at Divine Tattoo!!!

i don’t usually write reviews but I’ve been to 10+ tattoo shops in Kansas City and Divine is EASILY the best. they are patient, kind, and most importantly they are intentional with every tattoo they create. the energy in most tattoo shops just unfortunately aren’t always the best but divine is just amazing. I’ve gotten several piercings and tattoos from here and I will continue to go back.

My first time here I got my vertical labret from Russ. He didn't ID me and after piercing me asked to take a picture for his portfolio and asked me to smile for the photo (I have braces) but according to past employees he doesn't keep a piercing portfolio. I stopped going there after that but was really wanted both nostrils pierced and everyone else was closed. The girl ended up piercing the BRIDGE OF MY NOSE on one side trying to make sure they where symmetrical. I had it taken out the next day and was told Russ would give me a free piercing upon returning from vacation. When he got back I just asked for a lip piercing instead. It was pierced sideways tho and after no time it has started to scrape my gums off and leave serious damage and was still swollen a month later. I'd go to freaks on Broadway if I where you. They're more affordable, professional, and over half the price of divine and actually know what they're doing and aren't gross.
