I've been to four tattoo shops before Goodfellas in in the KC area, and I can tell you that Goodfellas is THE BEST. I've never felt more comfortable getting tattooed, and it is the cleanest shop I've ever been in. Not to mention I love all of the work I've had done by Kenneth Nash. I would recommend (and do!) this shop to everyone I know looking to get a tattoo.

I was so excited to get my sleeve finished with one of the artists at this shop. I absolutely loved his artwork but one of my friends had passed away two weeks prior to my appointment. I emailed my artist immediately when I found out and I asked them to reschedule and I heard nothing back. I called the shop one week later and the person on the phone gave the artist my phone number. I did not hear back from him until the day of my appointment when I was already at the funeral in Omaha. He stated that he would get back with me once he knew a date for a reschedule. I heard nothing back. I texted him again two weeks later and still nothing. Then of course, COVID happened and I assumed that got in the way of reschedules so I tried to be patient. I messaged him again in July and I received nothing back. I finally asked him to refund me my deposit through text and still nothing. I am so saddened that I was treated this way and I am not getting a refund for a mistake that I did not make. I normally would not leave a bad review on a company that I thought so highly of but this was very unprofessional.

Ty is exceptional so much so I keep going back for more ink, I always get compliments surprisingly in the drive-thru windows because the majority of his work is on my arm. I love to give referrals because his work is just that dope the whole world should know. The Goodfellas Tattoo Gallery is refreshing, warm vibe, clean and peaceful environment. The location is in the heart of the city which makes it convienent and the music in the shop is a added bonus. Thank you Ty for being dedicated to your craft, I’m proud to show off my ink!

Kenneth Nash is my favorite artist in KC. Not only has he won awards for his tattoos, but he is a really cool character. He puts a ton of effort in each design and it truly shows. Thanks to Nash I have a beautiful piece on my arm that was worth every penny!

I’ve been fortunate to live in many different states, Korea and Japan. My tattoos tell the story of my life so I have been tattooed in numerous locations by numerous artists. While in Kansas City visting my family for the holidays my daughter-in-law introduced me to Ty Nevels at Goodfellas. I decided to get a coverup on a finger tattoo and lily of the valley flowers( a memorial tattoo for my grandson). Ty executed both flawlessly and he was very personable and considerate. I received a number of compliments and inquires about my finger tattoo while out and about in Kansas City. During my session I had a chance to briefly chat with Nash and see his work in progress which was also flawless. The shop is without a doubt the best decorated and cleanest shop I have ever visited and I never go to shops that are not clean. Seriously even the bathroom was spotless. If you are looking for talented artists who are friendly and professional in an immaculate shop Goodfellas is the place to be.
