I've been coming to the same place for years since they first came here when it was rockstar tattoo it still rocks but even better. In and out fast. Always nice help with what ever u need. Matt he always makes everyone comfortable my kids have been going their since 2012.its clean ,private if needed.its like walking in to a party u already know everyone and u can sit their feeling confident about it. Except sorry their not really parting just an example of it was. Love it here

Marc Barnstable and Modern Electric are the highest quality you can expect from a person and tattoo shop. Marc came to me by referral from my sister in law. Every time she got a new tattoo whether it was a beautiful deer she made friends with or a burger, I was so impressed by the quality, color and fine detail.
When I came to Marc for a large portrait of a witch I had a basic reference piece of digital art from online. Marc turned it into a masterpiece of a gorgeous witch that was truly capitaving as a standalone piece of art.
I was recently in for an addition to to the sleeve to cover an old tattoo. With no reference image, a few pics and a 5 minute conversation, Marc figured how to cover the large piece in a way that would flow together with the rest of the sleeve. He has done such a good job.

After losing my Bestfriend, I wanted a memorial piece done for him. I thought it would be a great idea to have his friend Chandler helm and be the one to tattoo me and have a little more meaning. So chandler did this while the other artists were not there that day and only charged min. shop fee. This tattoo was supposed to be the most meaningful tattoo that I’ve received. So after everything was done and the tattoo was healed I had asked for a second session to fix the disaster he made on my shoulder. Never received a text back from him or even a call back from the shop after several attempts of trying to get something set up. I would highly recommend choosing a different shop.

I went to Modern Electric tattoo on Friday the 13th to get a tattoo done, Chandler did my tattoo, at first things were fine, and the tattoo looked okay, although there were some flaws such as a line that wasnt drawn straight, but unless you are looking at it intensely you couldn't tell, So I was okay with it. I have multiple other tattoos, and know the healing process very well. Today white pus came out of the tattoo that Chandler did on my arm. I've never had this problem, and cleaned it as I have every other tattoo I have gotten. I will never go to Modern electric tattoos ever again, and I hope this review helps other people avoid making the same mistake that I did.

Marc was awesome. I met with him first and told him what I wanted and he changed it a bit And I got exactly what I didn't know I wanted!! Great artist, fast, on point and talented. Barely hurt.

I had my daith pierced for free because they had an apprentice who needed to get practice in. He did a great job and I couldn't be happier! I was nervous since he was new, but he did awesome! It didnt hurt too bad at all and he told me what he was doing while he was doing it. My daughter had hers done as well and feels the same way. We will definitely be back for more piercings!
