barry did matching tattoos of a Julia butterfly for my mother and I! this was my first tattoo and my mothers 4th. my mother and I are both white as you can see in the photos, but I’m significantly paler which made it harder for Barry to pack the yellow ink onto my skin but he handled it so well! he was very friendly and overall a great artist to have the experience of a first tattoo with. overall for my mother and i it took around 4 and a half hours total.

I just got my first tattoo with Barry, and I could not be happier. He was so so kind and patient. He explained everything so well too. The lady at the front desk said not all tattoos are perfect, but I’m feeling pretty confident that this one is.

The artists at Deaf Dog Ink are outstanding! Mel really listened to what I was saying, and together, we worked up a beautiful Original piece that was truly reflective of me and what I was feeling. She took the time to digitally draw the piece out, so we could visualize and tweak the design. There was no arrogance or ego, like I encountered at a different tattoo shop for an earlier tattoo. Melissa and the rest of the staff made me feel as if I was being heard and welcomed. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you want some copy paste McTattoo, go to the other guys. Be it a large piece or a tiny heart on your butt, if you want beautifully crafted work that you’ve really helped design, absolutely go see the gang at Deaf Dog Ink.

I had the honor of getting my first tattoo done by Barry Peraino here at Deaf Dog. Everyone was very friendly when I came in for my appointment and were very attentive to anything I needed. When Barry and I got started he was beyond exceptional, and very fast at taking in my ideas and transferring them into a beautiful sketch. Since it was my first tattoo he walked me through the entire process and made me feel comfortable and heard throughout the appointment. My tattoo was a custom watercolor design of my cat’s paw print who died recently, and he listened to the story of how close I was to her and it was almost therapeutic talking to him about it, even while I was going through the pain of a tattoo! 10/10 would recommend this tattoo studio and the artist Barry!

I had taken my nose ring out to change the jewelry in it and I couldn't get a ring back in. I called their shop and they got me in that evening to get it replaced. I had not gotten the piercing there but I really appreciated that they got me in so quickly, I was afraid it was going to close up. Mel was really awesome, reassuring, and friendly and I would definitely recommend this shop and her for any piercing needs! Another shop I called had turned me down so I was very appreciative of them! And their shop was very clean and had a nice environment.

Barry did many of my tattoos. He IS an amazing tattoo artist, but when I pointed out some mistakes, he refused to do them (without booking more tattoos). He also tried to get with me repeatedly and got mad when I told him no. Women be weary. Please take care of yourself.

Carmie is a fantastic artist. She listened to all my details and created everything I needed way beyond my expectations.

I am in town visiting my family for the week and very spur of the moment decided to get another tattoo. I googled parlors near me and this place had great reviews so I went and I'm so glad I did!! I walked in and Mel helped me right away and she drew exactly what I wanted! It's my favorite of five tattoos I have. She also touched up an old tattoo for me really quick as well. Price was amazing and she was amazing I will always come to her when in town!

I had a great experience with this place and Jason R., even recommended him, handed people his business cards and got him more business (not that he needed it — he’s very talented). I finally found a place I could go to for all of my tattoos: they are super clean, professional, very talented artists and nice people. My only issue was getting in touch to schedule a touch-up (I think they were pretty busy for a while?). I will go to this place for all of my tattoos in the future.
