Basilica Tattoo

I saw Lachy for my tattoo. He did good work. I was there a long time, but I don't mind the extra time for something that will be on my body the rest of my life. I only docked a star for two reasons. First, I was told that my 250 deposit would go towards the final cost of my tattoo. I'm not sure it was. So, in the end, I let him keep it as part of his tip. Second, I understand that my artist didn't speak English very well. I don't speak Spanish, but I can understand some of it. And some of what I understood from the conversations the artists were having around me, well I would rather not listen to. So I put in my ear buds, and did my best to ignore it.
Overall, I love my tattoo, though. It's very pretty.

I booked Dayan to cover my half sleeve. Not only did he treat my time as money, but he captured my vision for my tattoo. I went through 6 years of a removal process and in 7hr, he was able to transform my tattoo into the most beautiful piece I could imagine for. I was hesitant at first given the price tag but it was well worth the money. I can now show my arm proudly. I’m so grateful to Dayan and the crew at Basilica.

Had the best experience here two weeks ago in the capable hands of Masu.

I turned up with an idea of the outline I wanted but no clue about colour. However, I'd chosen Masu because of her colour work so I was happy to leave it up to her.

All she asked was what colours I like/didn't like, and then I watched her develop this beautiful digital image. It was exactly what I'd wanted, I just couldn't have put it into words.

The tattoo itself took about an hour and a half, and was only declared "finished" when Masu herself was happy with it.

It was almost painfree (and I have very low pain tolerance) and is now healing well. The clear dressing that I was instructed to keep on for 5-7 days worked beautifully - no pain, no irritation. It looked a little strange after a few hours as the plasma from my skin mixed with the dark ink but it's worth it. I recommend taking a photo of your new piece of art before the dressing goes on, just so you don't forget how wonderful it is under all that stuff.

I've had nothing but compliments since, all starting with "Wow!"

Honestly the top tattoo shop in the valley. Professional, clean and above all incredibly talented. Dayan is a true artist and skilled in color….my tattoo almost glows.

I always love coming in to Basilica. The shop itself is so stunningly beautiful and the artists who work there are beyond skilled artists. Masu is my artist and she’s incredibly kind, talented, and overall the sweetest person. She takes so much pride in her work and as a client, it makes me feel special getting tattooed by her. Basilica is the best shop in Vegas, hands down.

Had an amazing experience with Nani! I came from out of town and booked with her over Instagram. I am incredibly picky about tattoos and having them near perfect. She spent so much time making sure the placement was perfect and was so meticulous about the lettering. Would highly recommend her and this shop!

My artist was great, the process was super easy to get in. The response times were just a but slow for my liking, but all of it is definitely worth the wait! Everyone is so kind and the environment is comforting. The work matches the portfolios for sure.

Went it for a consultation with one of their artists named Amanda… asked to have a Tongan crown put on my hand. She couldn’t draw it out, which was okay cause she did mention she was an apprentice so I was understanding …but before leaving she had a crown on her iPad that she was drawing up.. and she TOLD me that if she wasn’t able to do it, she would pass it to another artist she believed could bring it to life. I left and NEVER got a call back. Nothing. I, myself, put my phone number in her phone. The artists are regular, nothing spectacular. … The customer service is definitely POOR and you’re better off dealing with professionals. Having a shop don’t make you a professional, just a BETTER con artist. Go elsewhere, you’ll literally do better anywhere else.

I've visited several tattoo parlours over the years and this is far and away the best experience I've ever had. The communications around the design I wanted were great, the tattooing itself almost painless and the finished tattoo absolutely fantastic.
I can't recommend this studio highly enough.
