Ahava Tattoo Studio

Disaster - I shared with the owner Matt the first image shown below as what I wanted and he put on my body the second image - not even close and looks terrible - I hate it and made a huge mistake trusting his skill level - now I have to spend a ton of my time and thousands of dollars to get it fixed - makes me sick - he should pay back my deposit and fund all of the laser treatments I need to get this garbage removed. Go somewhere else and save yourself a huge headache.

I got my first tattoo with Alyx and she was amazing. Such a kind soul I immediately connected with her based on her work she had on social media. I gave her my idea and she designed something even better than I had imagined!! She explained everything and really made me feel comfortable the entire time. Always checked up on me and answered all my questions. Her work is magnificent and she improves every time I see her work on a new project! Other than that the studio Ahava honestly was a hidden gem in my township that I never noticed!! The shop has such amazing artists and they are all kind and so supporting. The energy was incredible and they all seem to love what they do which is so important to me!! They are all incredible and I’m sure you’ll find someone you will be able to connect with and get the results you want maybe even better honestly!! But of course remember to check out Alyx !!

Ahava is an amazing shop full of talented and bright artist. Everyone is very welcoming and accommodating. Each artist has their own unique style and offers fresh ideas for even some of your most standard tattoos. I had the pleasure of having my tattoo done by Rachel. They took an idea I had for years and made it into their own master piece that fit the design I asked for. Rachel always made sure I was comfortable and gave me the tattoo of my dreams. Overall, Ahava is one of the best tattoo shops in the area and their artist are top tier. They are able to work on multiple different skin types and tones, and provide nothing but an excellent experience. I will definitely be back for more tattoos!

I had a fantastic experience at Ahava Tattoo. The studio was clean and inviting, the artists are incredibly talented and very friendly (they even included me in their evening Chinese food order for dinner!). I highly recommend getting a tattoo here. I will be back for sure!

I got a pretty large feline tattooed on my leg (4.5h) by Rachel and the experience as a whole exceeded my expectations! She was extremely thoughtful and included everything I asked for, as well as very patient with my approval and modifications throughout our session. The shop keeps you entertained and distracted from the pain with good music, comedy shows, podcasts, and conversations. The only thing I would advise for is making sure you are aware of how the final piece will differ from the stencil.

Got an incredible piece from David a few weeks ago. He was super professional, let me give some input on the design, and it absolutely love the way it looks. David is a true artist and it was so cool to see his style flow into my idea for this tattoo. He’s also a super nice dude and we had a great conversation.

The studio was spotless and everyone was doing a great job taking into account covid precautions. Also, there was a genuinely friendly vibe around the place. I found myself talking to other artists and patrons while I was being tattooed, and everyone was so chill. This shop is awesome and full of talented artists, I can’t wait to get another tattoo here!

Highly highly recommend! This is my second time getting tattooed by Bo. If you are looking for impeccable, top notch quality tattooing then this shop is the place and Bo is your guy! He absolutely kills traditional tattoos. Very professional shop and very personable people. This shop is the spot and you will definitely walk out the door happier then when you came in! Definitely will come back for Bo ❤️

Even though I was anxious about getting my first tattoo, my tattoo artist David and the rest of the Ahava Tattoo family were so welcoming and accommodating that I felt right at home and comfortable through the tattooing process.

Additionally, the studio is kept well clean and good sanitary practices are maintained.

My tattoo artist David went above and beyond my expectations, taking my broad idea for my tattoo in my head and skillfully creating a beautiful and meaningful piece of artwork in physical form. It really demonstrated the amazing skill he has in his craft, but also how well he truly listens to his clients.

I could go on and on… but overall, tldr; I would drive 6+hours (to and from) again for the another tattoo, knowing that I’ll leave with an amazing tattoo and a wonderful tattoo experience

I went to see David (@staydrawlin) for a very special tattoo, after meeting him at the Atlantic City Tattoo convention in 2019.

My tattoo was done in November of 2019 and is still perfect today!

I felt very welcomed as soon as I walked in. The shop is very clean and well staffed. Everyone is so polite and have great vibes that you want to be around.

10/10 recommend this shop! I’m so happy with my work and the experience I received while there!
