Highly encourage you check out Aces Tattoo! I'm going to recommend D-Hawk, but I'm partial as he did work on me. He is one of the best artists I've seen or met. He's worth the wait and listens to what you ideas are and helps you come to the perfect blend of your vision and art! Below are some images from his book. Five stars! Ten starts! Twenty! Daveed was VERY efficient in booking. Upon meeting we had a brief discussion about what I wanted for my ink, and, was very professional in communication after. Flash forward to today, Daveed was very friendly and also professional, his line work and shading are on point. He was very patient in my decision making, though it didn't take long as what he drew was better than I'd imagined. When he got to work he was also very efficient and made good use of his time. I'm going to drop back by for more shirts because, well, you gotta represent!!!

I had a wonderful time going to Aces Tattoo. The first time I went in to talk to Dorian Gray about the piece I wanted to get done she was so friendly and knew exactly what I was talking about. We set up an appointment for the next week. When I came in to get the work done she had everything ready. I was so pleased that before she even started she explained and showed me that the needles were new and everything is clean. I was so pleased with the work when we got done and set up my color session with her. Overall it was a pleasant and very enjoyable experience.

I just got a tattoo from Kat/Flower Head, and I cannot overstate how fantastic the whole experience was. She was very easy to work with, friendly, and clearly an expert at her job. The cleanliness of the shop was great, and the covid precautions made me very comfortable with being there. It's a memorial tattoo for my cat, and I gave a very basic picture of what I wanted, and she made it perfect. I honestly couldn't look at it while she was working on it because I didn't want to cry into my mask, it was that perfect. I will absolutely be back for more, and would recommend her to anyone.

I can't say enough good things about Aces and more specifically, Justin! I moved from Tucson to ABQ and was looking for an artist I could trust. On a friend's recommendation, I connected with Justin.
His communication was quick, polite, and efficient. He was on time, extremely friendly and professional. The shop is well-kept, clean, and welcoming. There are a few things I'd like to point out:
1) A lot of piercing/tattoo shops have this weird, elitist, culty vibe that makes you feel unwelcome. This place is NOT that. I felt so at-ease and at home from the second I walked in the door.
2) Some piercing/tattoo shops are, unfortunately, really weird and creepy when it comes to women. I felt extremely comfortable and safe at this shop. Not only that, but I asked if my boyfriend could tag along, and Justin was extremely kind and welcoming to my boyfriend as well. Never at any point did my boyfriend feel like he was a bother.
3) The answer you're really looking for: the quality of work is amazing! Justin re-worked a tattoo that I felt less-than-confident about. From our initial communication, Justin made it clear that I was in very capable hands, and it proved true. I am extremely happy with the quality of the work, but also with his professionalism and care while tattooing. The little things matter. He checked in with me to see if I needed breaks, he wasn't aggressive with tattooing or wiping, and he bandaged my wound with care. Those things may sound silly, but they help contribute to a stellar experience.
Again, I truly can't say enough good things about this shop. Justin is a class act as a person and a professional, and I am very grateful for this excellent experience. Thanks, Justin!
