Mike Haro yes Matt Salazar no. Salazar gave me a few tatts however every time I wanted one and paid him in advance he kept giving me the run around. Worst time was this last time paid home for me and my two nephews $1,400 up front then when it came down to it I had to keep calling him texting him no answer for hours then finally
got mine done after paying like a month after. Was the worst experience I ever had and the worst anxiety knowing I paid so much and he wouldn't answer my calls or messag s and seen had ready messages on messenger but wouldn't respond till he wanted to. . Don't go to Matt whatever you do and if you do don't pay in advance.

I’m so grateful for Sacred Skin Tatu. I know that no matter what I take in to Matt, the owner, he will make it ten times better. I will only get work from him. I’ve been to a few other places and none of them measure up to Matt and his shop. He’s professional, artistic, caring and so much more. The whole vibe of the shop is just right. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you for bringing my piece to life. It’s simply amazing and the compliments I get make everyone minute getting the piece done, worth it. Highly recommended. Remember, when dealing with tattoo artists, they all have their own style. Which is a good thing, I certainly wouldn’t want a tattoo that someone else has.

In reference to Matt.
Going to Ukraine and desired a tattoo with personal meaning. Matt Very unprofessional and gave false belief he was a professional tattoo artist. Lacked attention to detail. If you lose the love of what you do then stop and dont ruin someones art that they want on there body. Please see photo. Top pic is me. Botton is what I wanted but add fire to the base of Phoenix. Cost $900.00

Got a tattoo from Paul. Gave me a bad tattoo, but tried to make amends by fixing it. When I went in he tried to "fix" it by drawing out something completely different than what I wanted and was partially on my skin already. I tried to explain it several times but he didn't understand his own design, so then offered for another artist to fix it for me. After several weeks of checking availability, he has now ghosted me and either leaves me on ready when I ask about getting it fixed or just doesn't respond. Now I'm out $100, have a bad tattoo, and have to pay someone else to fix it. Still giving 2 stars because it's still a good shop with cool people.

Matt is an amazing artist and continues to prove that he’s the best in Albuquerque. He’s professional and his shop is very clean and welcoming. I will never go to another artist because I know I will not get the same quality work. What’s even better is that Matt is amazing at fixing tattoos and cover ups. Some tattoo shops are not entirely safe for females because the artists think it’s okay to make unwanted advances, but I never have to worry about that with Matt. He’s passionate and takes his work very seriously. If you’re looking for a safe environment and amazing work, this is the place you need to go to. Matt is the artist you need to see. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Really didn't even wanna give 1 star however didn't have a choice Mike Haro advertised 6 hours for 350.00 scheduled first session. He arrived an hour late still needed to sketch drawing so after starting he was already an hour in after he "finished " he said 3 hours was done. Which is 1 hour waiting for him then 1 hr for him to socialize and "draw up design" technically 2 hours of actual work. When attempting to schedule remaining 3 hours got the run around got accused as if I was in the wrong requesting work that was already paid for. Do not get work done with this shop!

Best tattoo place anywhere! Friendly, super clean, and don't get me started on how talented they are in this shop! Mike Haro blew my mind with how great my tattoo came out. Hands down THE BEST!

Amazing artist! Matt is extremely humble and kind. What ever you’re thinking for a tattoo, Matt puts into motion. The entire shop’s energy is chill and welcoming. I’ve been to a few shops in my life and Matt’s is by far the best. Everything from the atmosphere to the people that work there. You will not be disappointed. The shop is so clean and the decor is amazing. No other shop in town has the feel that Sacred Skin has. I will forever go to Matt for my ink. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Matt is the bomb ! Referred to him by a friend, this is my 1st tattoo ! Was a little nervous, didn't know what to expect, Matt is a professional and kept me a ease ! Shop is clean & professional ! His other artists are great and great conversation too ! Matt is a great artist ! Definitely will be going back to get more art done !
