Peg Leg Sam's Tattooing and Piercing

Peg Leg Sam's was an amazing place for our piercings. First off, we were hosting a young child's party who requested an ear piercing party. This shop only takes walk ins but was super accommodating for all our young girls. I really like how they require birth certificates to ensure that the parents are the ones bringing them to be pierced. They had a wide variety of jewelry and a super clean work space. Melissa let us all be a part of the experience with a workable distance and had patience with the kids. I got my nose pierced because the kids were so brave and she did a great job. I have since recommended many friends and other parents who want their kids ears pierced but not in a mall with a gun, but by a professional.

Great place to get your piercings! I have been there as well as taken both daughters to get various piercings. No issues with any of them. Very clean and hygienic.

while I have many piercings, I went in to get a simple helix done and I ended up passing out, and Melissa and the lady at the front desk took great care to make sure I was alright, definitely will be going back.

Staff was really friendly and patient. I took my daughter to get her ears pierced and they were so patient with her, they let her go at her own pace that way she felt comfortable. That was a big help and big relief since I was a bit worried about that. Prices are decent, I'd definitely go back here if I needed to!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I would not recommend anyone to get a piercing here. First of all, Melissa’s attitude was rude and disrespectful towards me and my friends. When she pierced my belly button, she missed it completely, and it was very crooked. I asked politely if there was anything she could do to fix it and she said “I asked for your approval before I pierced you”. A couple days later, one of the balls on the jewelry came out and the piercing just ended up coming out because of that. I was honestly happy that happened because I absolutely hated the piercing (it was so ugly). The other day I went to a much better piercing place in my hometown and they reassured me that they will pierce my navel correctly (it was beautifully done, not crooked, in my belly button, and the piercer was extremely nice). He told me that my previous piercing done at Peg Leg’s was not good at all since the scars were still there and he could see where it was pierced. I am glad peg leg’s was so cheap so I don’t feel as bad about wasting my money and time on this place. If you can avoid going here, I recommend finding a different piercing shop and doing your research first.

Always nervous about trying new places but I took a chance and really glad I did. Pricing is incredible and they accepted me walking in even though it was close to closing. Quick and professional work, will definitely be going back for a couple more piercings

I got my nose pierced by Melissa today. She did an AMAZING JOB! She walks you through the whole process from start to finish, she informs you on how to take care of your piercing and gives you tips! The piercing itself did not hurt as bad as I thought! She was very quick and used sanitary procedures! The place itself was clean, organized and very nice! The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and they have quite a bit of variety when it comes choosing your stud for the nose piercing! They give you aftercare instructions to take home and even a card with Melissa's information in case you have any questions! I definitely will recommend to my friends and family for any piercings! I will go back for a tattoo for sure!

She would not reimburse me for a twice pierced crooked piercing

I went in today to get my septum pierced and my friend got an orbital ear piercing. This place was very clean, I felt as though the tools and equipment we’re very sanitary, and reasonably priced. But.... Melissa was rude and didn’t give us the proper aftercare information. she just seemed like she was annoyed that we were there. Her tone of voice was very condescending and rude. She gave my friend information but didn’t give the same to me. when i asked if that also applied to my piercing, she said “ haha oh yeah i forgot”.
We probably would have returned in the future, but we won’t be after the unprofessional attitude that Melissa had.

I got my earlobes done and glad she mark my ears before piercing and listened to her telling me instructions on how to clean it and with what to clean it with. She was very nice and my earlobes came straight and good.
