This was the best tattoo experience I've ever had! Chris Alverado was able to completely cover up an old tribal tattoo from ten years ago. I brought him a photo of what I wanted and he made it work. It's healing perfectly and I'm no longer ashamed to wear sleeveless shirts. The shop itself was clean and inviting and comfortable. I recommend him and this shop without hesitation!

Came in on a Saturday morning when they opened on our back to Albuquerque and Cristopher Alvarado was able to squeeze me in last minute for a quick lil filler spot (Three crosses). Great work and awesome customer service! Will come back here again.

This place has terrible piercing service. I went almost a year ago and the two ladies told me piercing my daith could potentially give me chronic migraines since it is a pressure point to REMOVE migraines. I got my piercing done at another place obviously after hearing that ridiculous, not factual statement. The store never has any good jewelry for ears but rather a lot of body jewelry. Told I went in because because my daith is twisted and was told the women who does the piercing was not there….. maybe you should state that when you list what hours your open if your not going to have the only person who can do piercings there.

Independent Ink is the best Tattoo Shop in Silver City New Mexico, my wife and I are in town on vacation and took a chance on getting a appointment with Jerry the owner and one of the best Tattoo Artists in the area.
They were booked solid but Jerry went out of his way and came in early to take care of us. His work rocked and we were very appreciative he fit us in. I highly recommend Independent Ink.

I felt so welcome and at home while visiting the shop to get some piercings done. Jayme was an absolute joy, super professional and put me right as ease with my jittery nervousness. Everything was done efficiently and the whole set up was super clean. A big ol' win for me.

Got an industrial piercing here and am very pleased. The staff was very nice and professional. The place was clean and the woman who pierced my ear explained what she was doing as she did it which was nice. I'll definitely come here again for any other piercings I get~
