I recently got my second tattoo from Joe Woods (first time at Parasol Tattoo), and I couldn't be more elated with the experience and the results! Especially in light of COVID-19, it was clear to me that Joe and the staff at Parasol are most exceptional, both in terms of safety and skill. Prior to my appointment, I was contacted and updated about the regulation updates for in-shop appointments in response to COVID-19. I had been nervous about what to expect, so being informed of safety protocols and procedures, as well given an opportunity to ask any questions really eased my mind prior to the appointment. Once I arrived, Joe and staff were very clear, helpful, and warm; it honestly felt like nothing had changed (apart from the masks hehe). In terms of getting tattooed, Joe was an incredible artist to work with. I had sent him my design a week prior, and it was very clear he had put a lot of thought into his execution of my design. I was getting a piece in color, but the rest of my tattoos in the area are in black. He offered me the suggestion of outlining this piece in black to help make it fit better, but gave me the option to not pursue that route if I didn't want to. I really appreciate an artist who looks out for their client and provides advice based on their experience, while still respecting the desires of that client. When tattooing, Joe was so easy to talk to; I honestly felt like I was talking to a really good friend of mine! At the end of the session, I was blown away by the price, so much cheaper than anticipated! I was expecting a more expensive price tag for such a beautiful piece of art. All in all, I have nothing but the highest praise for this company and their staff. I have gotten several tattoos in Saratoga, so I can confidently state that Parasol Tattoo is like no other - exceptional quality, treatment, and standards.

Their extra precautions and policies put in place during this time of COVID-19, make you feel at ease and ensure you that it is a safe and clean environment. I went to get a tattoo from Joe the other day and it was a very good experience and i definitely recommend and person that wants a tattoo to go here. The tattoo shop is very unique in design, comfortable and welcoming. The employees are top notch and most importantly I couldn't be more satisfied with how the tattoo came out, Joe really took my idea and perfectly depicted it onto my skin.

A week ago was my first time going to parasol tattoo company and i had a perfect experience. It’s the cleanest and friendliest environment! And the artists are extremely talented. Whitney tattooed the most beautiful rose, I highly recommend getting something done from her.! I’ll definitely be coming back :)

He has even assembled a group of artists that match his passion and dedication to the tattoo world. I’m very excited to see the next chapter unfold. He is great at listening to your ideas and helping work through any uncertainties about the whole process, has a light touch, and does simply gorgeous work. I can’t recommend this shop enough.

Joe Wood did an amazing job on a tough cover up and I will be returning to finish a full sleeve. Awesome ambience and vibe at the shop. Amazing artists. Great work. Very professional. Overall a very good experience. 5 1/2 hour session felt like much less.

This was my first ever tattoo experience and it couldn’t have been better. The artist was very clean with his tools and made sure that the sketch was perfect before he applied it. We had a great conversation while the tattoo was in progress, and it turned out amazing. Very nice place, I would highly recommend!
