I've known Paul Andrews for over 10 years. He's done both my half sleeves and full back pieces. He is a fantastic artist but also really enjoys working with clients to give them a great custom tattoo. His new place is an expression of just that; cutting edge vegan inks and aftercare products that don't leave you wrapped in plastic and painful medical tape, a studio that reflects concern for the clients experience rather than a shop that looks like a teenagers' basement hang-out, and an attitude that is all about making a positive and memorable experience for the client. Paulie has done the majority of my work over the years. Here's a great artist and his work is impeccable. The shop is spotless and a very comfortable space. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about getting ink done.

Paulie has created the most "un-tattoo parlor" I have ever encountered. His shop is immaculate, and feels more like an art studio. He has done almost an entire sleeve for me, and I can tell you that I have never encountered a more humble and approachable artist.

This is a great business with a better owner. The owner is attentive to art for the user while still advocating for consultative alteration that makes more sense from an artist's perspective. Trust the professional eye and advice....always! While I pause to call this place a "shop", because it defies that definition, this particular location has a vibe that is low key, no drama, no BS, and is a place that is comfortable, warm, and welcoming. I get work done here due to the artist's skill - I like coming here because of the artist himself and for the space he has created.

I had to change tattoo artists because my nutritionist was unsure if regular ink was toxic to me. Paulie uses vegan ink in all colors. He's the only artist in the shop and he built the inside himself. It has a very comfy cool feel. Anyone will feel comfortable here. He plays mellow rock music and will talk or not talk depending on your preference. He also updated the bathroom so that it is gender neutral and accessible.
The parking is very tight but there will usually never be anyone else there besides the people working in the other part of the building. So if there space, park on the side of the building and ask to make sure.
Know what you want but not exactly? First you make a consult appointment where you talk about what design you want. Then he goes beyond that, talking about what it means to you and the feeling of the tattoo. Then he hand draws it and for me, he brought my idea to life. You can see a lot of his work on the Instagram page and on here. It is high quality work. I highly recommend him for your next tattoo.
The fact that he cares about what the tattoo means and puts the feeling in the work is something I haven't found before. I was surprised at how in depth we went during the consult and how much detail and thought he put into making the best design of my idea for me and my body.
I will be going back for my next one.

From the moment I walked in the door until the moment I walked out the door i felt like family. Paulie has created an amazing atmosphere with some artwork and beautiful antique furniture!
