Double Deuce Tattoo and Art Gallery

I have gone here twice now and this place is great. Scotty the owner is friendly and makes you feel welcomed. He explained everything that was going to happen before and after getting my tattoos. He keeps the shop clean and made sure to open anything he was going to use in front of me. He did an awesome job both times. I definitely plan to keep going back.

I had my tattoo done by Kip. He is an amazing artist, I wish I had found him years ago! He was quick to respond to my emails, answered all my questions and was gracious as I was pretty nervous while I was there. The place is clean and the atmosphere is relaxed. I love my new tattoo! I will be referring all my tattoo loving friends here and will be returning if I ever want another one.

Switched to this place for my second tattoo after a friend recommended Kip to me. He was great working with me and all my different ideas and was super helpful in helping me decide the perfect design.
The appointment itself was great, quite and peaceful, he focused on his work without distraction which I appreciated. He answered all my questions for aftercare and made sure I was completely happy with everything. Appointment took less than an hour, Overall it was a great experience. I look forward to coming back to Kip, He is definitely talented!

Kip was amazing to work with from start to finish on the memorial tattoo I had done for my sister. My family up in NJ got the same exact tattoo, but commented on how much they loved the work Kip did on mine more than theirs! The colors were so much more vibrant and the roses were so much more realistic! I have a couple of other tattoos and this tattoo is the best one I have ever had done! I can’t stop looking at it! I love the shading he did on my roses and how he just made it all come together and flow . I now have my go to artist for my next tattoo! Thank you again Kip for doing such a wonderful tattoo that was so very special to me.

I did a lot of online research trying to find that perfect tattoo shop before coming across Double Deuce Tattoo. The place has everything I was wanting and hoping for in a tattoo shop! The tattoo artist are all s-ranked and are very enthusiastic about their work! The shop feels fresh and clean, and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. All my tattoos were done by Kip!

I had my session with Kip. The shop was super clean and followed Covid precautions which as an immunosuppressed individual made me feel super safe and taken care of. Kip was punctual and ready to go with sizes and styles already out to be chosen and offered to resize some of them; however there was no need because I had already spotted the two that were perfect! Wait time was absolutely minimal and we jumped right in. I felt super comfortable no anxiety and Kip was quick and thorough!!! Best tattoo artist I’ve had in NC, very talented with line work and attention to detail. Quickly became my favorite and I will forever keep him as my go to artist! If you need wording or something with intricate line work Kip is your man even though his whole portfolio and style is amazing.

I would definitely recommend Scotty for anyone trying to find an artist in Raleigh. He was very responsive, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He’ll work with you to get the exact tattoo that you want and provide insight into what will work best and why. If it’s one of your first tattoos, Scotty’s demeanor is very friendly and calming and he can definitely ease your nerves. I’m very happy I chose him and will be returning for future appointments.

Got my very first tattoo by Scott here, I must say it was the best experience! The shop is very clean and Scott was so nice. Great personality, very easy to talk to and he made me feel super comfortable during my experience. I absolutely love my tat! Will definitely come back. I highly recommend him!

Scotty did a wonderful cover up on my shoulder! He was professional and the studio was clean and well taken care of. The other artists were incredibly nice too! My new go-to place for tattoo’s!! Highly recommend!!

I can’t recommend this place enough! I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. An incredibly clean, friendly and relaxed environment with artists who will work with you to give you exactly what you are looking for. I personally go to Scott, the owner, who is awesome and will put you at ease with his easygoing (and hilarious!) personality. Tooch is awesome too! You honestly can’t go wrong here. It’s been my go-to shop for years now and I will continue to come back because I know I can count on them to do a phenomenal job every time while making me feel at home!
