My experience at Seventh Sin Tattoo was nothing short of exceptional. They hold to the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism. The artists and staff from top to bottom made for an enjoyable time. I felt comfortable, welcomed, and like my time and idea was honored.

I worked with Chris Toler who is a master of his craft, and a pretty rad dude.

I am looking forward to returning for more work with Chris and hope to work with other artists at the shop as well. I would highly recommend for anyone who is serious about working with top notch artists in a high quality shop.

I had a meaningful tattoo in mind based on a very tricky piece of art made by a lost friend. The prep work done was amazing, but it wasn’t even close to the final product on my body. I cried after leaving the session because it far surpassed my greatest expectations. I am forever indebted to this place. So accommodating, professional, and caring. If you are looking for a tattoo in Charlotte there is no place I can imagine that could have done better

The environment here is amazing! The quality of the work/art is absolutely phenomenal. I had my tattoo idea for a few years and it was one I am sharing with my sister for my mother. I wanted it to be as best as it could be. Zach went absolutely above and beyond! For my first tattoo, this place and artist was the best! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. All their artists are super talented and have different styles, so no matter who you go with you will get the tattoo of your dreams.

I went to Seventh Sin about a year ago as I was interested in a full-arm sleeve tattoo. After looking at the work of the artists, I went with Tivis Phillips. He scheduled a consultative appointment with me to walk through ideas and concepts and it let me get a feel for who would be working on me. After (6) 1/2 day sessions, my sleeve is complete. Tivis is one hell of an artist and is passionate about tattoing which shows in his work. The shop is top-notch, clean as well as professional. You are going to pay a little more than other shops in the area but these are professional tattoo artists and it shows in the final product. You can go anywhere and pick a tattoo from a book but wouldn’t you rather have something custom-designed that you won’t be looking to have covered-up within a few years.

I got a tattoo from Zach and was completely blown away. He took a pretty basic concept sketch and revamped the whole thing until it was beautifully thought out piece, without losing the sight of the meaning behind the original design.
I've been tattooed several times now, but Zach was the softest touch by far. The lines are solid and clean, and the shading is perfectly blended.
The shop itself is bright and clean, full of open space and natural light. Everyone there was friendly and inviting.
This was also the first shop I've been to that completely accessible, to wheelchair users.
The whole environment is relaxed but professional, and I absolutely plan on going back.

Walked in and had great customer service right away. Clean environment, and cool open concept interior - nice vibe inside. Joey is the man! Highly recommend!
