Been by several times when they should be open and there’s never anyone there. Even went two time in one day hours apart and no one is ever there. Sad because they used to be so great and now it’s horrible.

I got a cover up on my foot a year ago here. It still gets many compliments. I picked a lotus flower from the artwork and my tat artist freehanded lace and pearls around the flower to create a one of kind finish. Very gorgeous freehand, the best in town

Terrible portfolios...staff is never there when I stop in which I stopped doing. Boring and lame flash and really oddly uncool stuff too. Seemed to cater to some real lame ideas but I couldn't put it together. Is it ethnic? Is it occult? Is it even there? My advice is to take it out of town for a tattoo and get a personal tattooist that doesn't work in a shop and will come to you.

Always have had a wonderful experience here, whether I was just walking in or had a previously scheduled appointment. Most of my tattoos have been done here. The prices are fair, and not over-the-top. Keep in mind they aren't "cheap" either though, but you get what you pay for! But for the work they do, their prices are extremely reasonable! Most places would charge much, much more... And wouldn't even put in half the effort that the artists at Aztec II do, and the tattoos wouldn't even come out as great as the work you can get at this shop here. And other shops may be cheaper, but you won't get the quality that you would here. The prices are spot-on for the work, yet still extremely reasonable and fair.
The shop is always very clean and sterile smelling inside. They are all very professional, but can and will still joke around and have a good laugh with you. When I go in it feels kind of like a family reunion that you're walking into.
I highly recommend Sophia, she is a great piercer and a wonderful tattoo artist. She is a sweetheart and always makes each visit pleasant. I request her every time I go! She is my favorite! (Shhhh… don't tell, lol). Her husband is also wonderful, he did an AMAZING unicorn on my Mother's forearm and it is beautiful. I got it for her, for her 55th birthday she just had in February. She gets constant compliments. Ricardo is also a great tattoo artist. He did my first in-shop tattoo on my 18th Birthday, which was 9 years ago, and despite age and sun exposure (it is on my upper back, covering each shoulder blade), it still looks great! I would honestly recommend anyone who works in this shop.
They also have a pretty good selection of body jewelry. Not as much as I've seen at other places, but they definitely have a great assortment and their prices are very reasonable on their jewelry. They also don't mind selling you the jewelry they keep at their stations that they use when doing a fresh piercing, if you want something more plain for your piercing vs something more decorated. Last time I was there they did also have clear "retainers" for piercings as well, for those who have to have MRIs and cannot wear anything metal, or for job interviews, etc.
Everyone at Aztec II are friendly, and will work with you to make you happy and satisfied when getting a new tattoo and/or piercing. I definitely recommend them to all of my friends, and even strangers, who ask me where a good tattoo shop is (keep in mind I am COVERED in tattoos, lol).

I went to get my bellybutton done here, and it was done crooked! In the video I took you can clearly see she completely misses the mark she put. I also got my tragus done the same day, the jewelry was way too tight and it pushed out!
