Got tattoo #7 last weekend. Another great job done by Lacie Frain. The newly remodeled shop is very nicely done and all the artists are very friendly. As always, I will be looking for an idea for another tattoo to be done by Lacie as soon as I can!

Love this place very friendly and welcoming. Went in for scar cover up and worked with Sam TWICE he is awesome and very easy going made the whole experience painless. For my first tattoo I was so scared but good conversation and a friend along with ya before you know it he was done I highly recommend coming here if you haven’t already

Extremely disappointing experience! From the moment I entered, not only did I not feel welcomed but once the "friendly" receptionist got the tatoo artist Matt to come and discuss our wants, I knew immediately he had no desire whatsoever to help me. Granted I came unprepared by not bringing in a image, but I knew what I wanted and I was under the impression that a tattoo artist was just that...... An artist. I assumed that he would work with me and help me create the image I wanted, but instead what I got was a condescending unhelpful attitude and told to go home and bring him an image. I was incredibly put off by Matt's demeanor and I will ABSOLUTELY not return!

Recently decided I wanted to go ahead with getting a tattoo I've wanted. A friend suggested Lacie so I set the appointment and literally had to wait 2 months. I told the person I spoke to on the phone this is a first tattoo for me, and then described a black design smaller than half a dollar bill on my foot with a chosen font and picture. Well I wish they would have mentioned this was only the consultation, looking back it makes perfect sense but I would have liked the information. Went to the appt still, waited 45 minutes while she enthusiastically talked with another customer about their tattoos, I thought "awesome, she's a professional!". I guess she forgot about me because the front desk gal reminded her I was there. No handshake, no introduction, just sat down and completely rushed me through the consult making me feel uncomfortable. Then she wanted $210.00 for the above described tattoo, and it would be another 5 weeks before she had any available time. I left disappointed.

Did a walk in with Sam, he was super nice and funny which helped calm me down (even tho I was being the biggest baby over a tiny ass tattoo) my tattoo healed beautifully and I will definitely return for bigger pieces in the future!!

Just got my third tattoo at Phoenix, had two done at other shops. I'll always go back here. Everyone is super cool and easy to work with, artists are as good as they get and prices are super fair

Don't get Rob...tattoo was rushed and sloppy. Such a shame as my first tattoo. I should've trusted my instincts and left after he said $120 for a tattoo the size of a fifty cent piece. He also talked me into changing my original idea cause 'No one in Raleigh or even NC would do a tattoo like that' (it was a simple bold circular spiral...?????) he said there was no way it would be symmetrical, so we did a square design which is ok...but not what I wanted. See ANYONE but him!!

Lacie is the most incredible artist and also the most wonderful person to get a tattoo from. I can't recommend her and her shop highly enough. She is absolutely amazing!
