Lamar is great! He’s great with communicating with clients and is readily available. His prices are fantastic as well. I got a dream catcher on my left thigh and he only charged $90. (The first picture is right after he finished, the second picture is a few days after once it started to heal, and the third picture is the design I brought to him). I’ve gotten much simpler and smaller tattoos at another shop and they charged much more than that!
The shop is clean and inviting. He does great work and is precise yet quick at the same time. He was able to make the design look great on my skin (almost better than the actual design I found). I had virtually no bleeding and minimal pain. I’m still extremely pleased with it much later and it’s my favorite tattoo so far. I highly recommend and will see him again.

Truthfully, I have a hard time trusting people. I was referred to Lamar by a friend of mine and let me just say I am absolutely impressed with his work. I have had others done and in comparison Lamar's work and quality looks a million times better. I was in for a cover up. He made the initial process quick and easy, the next day (today) he got me in for the actual session and worked around my work schedule. Lamar is extremely professional, well mannered and an all around talented individual. I wont go to anyone else for my tattoos from here on out. I'm referring my dad, my sister, my mom, and a few friends. I'm super happy with the end result.
The tattoo itself I really didn't have any bleeding. ( Which is unusual because I usually bleed heavily). He's not heavy handed at all. And it actually goes very quickly. From start to finish it took him a little over 2 hours. Thank you Lamar for working with me and fitting me in. I will definitely be back in by next week sometime. 😀

I highly recommended Premium Ink! I first went to Lamar so he could take a look at a botched tattoo job (done by a different tattoo artist). we scheduled an appointment and I went in. upon entering his studio I noticed how clean and PRIVATE it was. There wasnt random people running in and out, it was very a comfortable and laid back environment. when assessing he didn't rush at all. he really gave me that "one on one" time. We agreed on a fix for my tattoo. I also noticed Lamar was not heavy handed AT ALL! He schooled me and let me know that a tattoo artist doesn't have to press so hard when tatting, he conversed with me as if he'd known me for years!! I will continue to take my business to Lamar and would HIGHLY recommended him if you want a private session, reasonable prices, years of tattoo experience, and someone who truly loves and is awesome at what he does.
