I have now been tattooed by both Suanne and Alex and had amazing experiences both times. I can’t wait to get tattooed by the other artists there as well. They were entirely professional and I felt very comfortable during my entire appointments. For my appointment with Suanne, she had to cancel, but she rescheduled me as soon she could and even scheduled me on a Monday when the shop is closed to get me in. I scheduled my appointment with Alex the day she reopened her books. Their receptionist was out for the day so she was definitely having a busy time making appointments on the day she reopened her books, but she was handling it very well and i was grateful to be tattooed by her not too long after. A very friendly atmosphere that I recommend to everyone:)

Alex did an amazing job with my shoulder tattoo! I could not be happier! Last year I went to a different artist at a different shop and got a mandala tattoo on my shoulder and I wasn’t pleased with the entire experience. I finally decided to get it fixed. I wasn’t sure how much they would be able to do but I had to do something. At the consultation Alex listened to me, took notes, and showed that she really cared. Everyone at Black sheep is super friendly and accepting. They make everyone feel welcome and like you have been friends for years. I will definitely be going back for any future tattoos 😊

Incredible artists working here. Highly recommend. When getting a tattoo somewhere, you can never be sure if an artist can capture your idea, but that was never a concern here. The attention to detail and quality is incredible.

I had scheduled an appointment for a tattoo back in April for August 5th, I then proceeded to take that day off from work only to be told the day before that Alex was ill and would not make it, which is fine, people get sick. I then spoke to Heather, who was not only rude but treated me like I was an inconvenience, I asked if I could get my $150 deposit back, since THEY broke our original contract by canceling on ME, not only did she say no to the refund but also the earliest they could get me in now would be December 10th.....FOUR MONTHS after the original appointment!!!!! Keep in mind I Scheduled this appointment back in APRIL!!!! I would have never made the appointment had I known I would have to wait until December. So not only am I out that days work, I’m also out of my $150, at no point did I feel like I was treated as a valued customer, nor did they make any attempt to make it right. I’ve also had several friends who call for touch-ups on tattoos they have gotten there, only to be told someone will call them back with a time and date, or the person that answers has no idea what’s going on, but needless to say nobody ever calls back, you can leave countless messages and nobody ever gets back to you, clearly the person who takes the calls just neglects to do their job and deliver the message which is pure laziness!!! I would not recommend going here for anything.

Suanne is amazing! We got in with her last minute to get our North Dakota state tattoos. If we didn't live all the way in Ohio, we would go back. We just might have to stop back and get another one!

Sampson is the only person in town I will let tattoo me. He has done pieces for me that ranged from 45 minutes to 6 hours. He and everyone else at the shop are really friendly, it was actually entertaining to be laying on the table for 6 hours.

Sampson did such a bada** job on my husband ands tattoo! Would highly recommend 👌

Sampson is a great artist! His whole team was very kind and happy to be there. 10/10 experience, would highly recommend.
