One Shot Tattoo

I has a consultation for a fairly intense tattoo, appointment was set, and didn’t hear back so I reached out to find out where we were on a preliminary design. The artist decided to not do the tattoo at all and I totally understand. I asked to keep the appointment time for my daughter (19) and sent in examples of what she wanted and also decided to change up my design and hold off until next year. The artist canceled and blocked me. I really don’t understand the reasoning for canceling the tattoo’s. I offered to pay for the design time, and when the content was in question (which was left to the artist interpretation of my description) I offered to change that as well. The artist has amazing examples of their work and comes very highly recommended so I’m not being negative to the quality of the work whatsoever, they truly are one of the best I’ve seen in the area. My rating is solely reflective of the business etiquette alone.

So I understand that being a tattoo shop that allows walk-ins, people pulling up 20 minutes before close can be frustrating, but the fact two workers taking a smoke break in the back that see us swing in where you could've easily said Hey, we close in 20 minutes so we aren't doing tattoos this late. No instead, they hurry up close the garage door then as we are walking up they are locking the door basically in front of our faces which I get probably didn't wanna do it in front of us so you hurried to do it but we were stopping in to just get a quick idea on whether the small tattoos we wanted were in there style , price , and availability and then we woulda been on our way . Easily just lost possible business and was excited as you guys seem to do amazing work

Jess is friendly, professional and was easy to talk too. She did a good job on my son's first tattoo today. I've gone to One Shot tattoo for my tats, so that's where I took him. Going back again for myself next week... Friendly, not self absorbed, which is the best part. You want to feel welcomed and comfortable asking questions and getting advice on permanent artwork for your body. They are my go-to for tats.

Just had a new tattoo done by Jason. He is an amazing artist and very professional! I had a great experience and I love my new tattoo!

Michael gave me my first ever tattoo, and I couldn't be happier with it! He did such a careful outline of what I wanted that when I decided I didn't want to fill it in anymore he was totally ok with it, and finished my tattoo off and it's perfect. I'll definitely be going back here for any future tattoos!

Jess was awesome. My best friend and I went to get tattoos together and she was so kind and professional. She gave her honest opinion about placement and placed the stencil several times until I was 100% confident in where it was. I will definitely be going back here exclusively for the future.

Absolutely amazing people, Jess did my first tattoo and she was absolutely amazing. She gave me some great ideas for right arm and am planning on the four Zeppelin emblems on left.

Awesome place with great group of guys here. I’ve sat down with Jason and let him tattoo me 4 or 5 times, from traditional to portraits.. he’s an all around great artist. Always a cool atmosphere in the shop and I’ll be going back for more work. Highly recommend

I was given a recommendation for this shop and to work with Jason. I met with Jason and we discussed the custom tattoo I wanted. I provided Jason with some concepts. We then set up a date to get the tattoo, I paid a deposit and Jason said he would email me artwork and we would work together to finalize the tattoo. A week prior to my scheduled tattoo I reached out to Jason to see where the artwork was. He responded a couple of days before my scheduled tattoo by sending me two designs that looked like stock images. They did not appear to be custom and were not close to the deign that I had requested. I sent Jason feedback and I never heard from him again. On the morning of the day I was supposed to get the tattoo I contacted Jason again to cancel my appointment since we did not have agreed upon artwork. I asked Jason on when he wanted to reschedule. Jason did not respond again. A few days later I contacted Jason again asking for a refund of my deposit since he never completed the artwork, was unresponsive and caused me to delay getting the tattoo. He refused to refund my deposit.

I would not recommend this shop of Jason. They are unresponsive and will not work with you to get you the tattoo you want. They are an unethical business who will take your money and not deliver. Do not trust them.
