I've known Allen (the owner) for many years now. I've always had a great experience when I go into the shop. From a business standpoint, I believe that everything is fairly done, including deposit, tattoo pricing, etc. He may be booked out, but that to me means that you are waiting for quality work to be done. Someone who is booked means they are great at what they do, and I would personally rather wait months for something to get done that will be permanently on my body for the rest of my life. I had a bad experience at Mad Tatter and they added something to my back piece that I DID NOT want... I walked into Skin Tight, told them the situation and they sat down with me and went over exactly what needed to be done to fix/re-work it and now I love it. I also have a sleeve that I'm in love with. HIGHLY recommend Skin Tight!!

Skin tight is the best place to go in the area. I have been going to Allen for over 10 years now and I wouldn't go any where else. If you have to wait its because your waiting for quality. Any negative comments are probably from people who have never been tattooed by him. Highly recommend and if you have any questions just ask, i am a walking display of Skin Tight art

I would definitely recommend Alan at Skin Tight! I started going to him over ten years ago and he has been the only artist I have used since. Not only is he a great artist but he has a high standard for cleanliness and is extremely reliable. He does what he says and has always steered me right. I’ve had >100 hours in Alan’s chair and plan on spending many more. Picture is a tribal arm band cover-up that Alan designed based on my direction.

Allen is a great guy and an even better tattoo artist. Up until the piece he tattooed, my only other tattoo is on my foot from when I was 18, enough said there! Needless to say I was very nervous about my second tattoo. I was nervous about the size, the placement and the fact that this tattoo has a lot of meaning to me. When it came time to get it done Allen had a way of calming any nerves I had, I hardly felt any pain (despite it being on my rib cage and hearing that’s a painful spot) and he brought this very special tattoo to life. This shop is THE BEST in Cincy you will find. I was tattooed by Allen. He was recommended to me as I was searching for a good artist and man did I find an Amazing Artist. Over 3 sessions he took his time and came out with something I am extremely proud of. He takes criticism well and accepts input, he is reliable, talented, and a great guy to get to know. His work speaks for itself and he is very reasonably priced too. He used a stencil on part of the tattoo and free-handed the rest. This guy is TALENTED!!! His aftercare process is simple and he actually also sells Tattoo Goo. I have never used it before for any of my other tattoos, but I am a believer now! My tattoo healed twice as fast and still looks amazing! He has all of my future business from here on out and I look forward to the next work of art he does on me. -THANKS AGAIN Allen, I look forward to the next one! -

Got an overpriced tattoo from someone who can't even do simple work. Had an allergic reaction. Been to several shops and have multiple other tattoos. That's never happened. Was told to come back and it would be touched up. I was told it was a possibility it would need to be touched up cause of the area its in. No big deal. Very casual about it. Never said I needed an appointment or it would be an extra charge. Just to come in whenever I can. Completely different when I get to the shop. Want me to come in when the shop closes to get it fixed. The owner couldn't even turn around and talk to me about the extra charge AFTER the appointment was set. No communication and horrible atmosphere. I'd rather get a tattoo at the mad tatter in Amelia. That's saying a lot. Good luck though! 🤙

Great atmosphere and great people. Working on getting a sleeve done now and have had maybe 20 hours there and I continue to run into others that use Skin tight. I would highly reccomend their work and service.
