I have had a few tattoo's done. A neck tattoo done by an artist no longer with permagrafix. A grim reaper for a tribute to my uncle by Chris, and my wife and I did dragonflies on our hands by Aaron. She also has a dreamcatcher on her back done by Chris (Our second date, her first tattoo), while there she saw a tongue ring she really liked, and Chris gave me half off on it just because I was a repeat customer. I have always found Chris and his employee's professional, polite, and friendly. Chris knew how important the grim reaper was to me so he spent time studying a picture of the original on my uncle's arm to match it as closely as possible. I haven't gotten any tattoos in two years, but now that I will be able to afford it again I'm sure I will be just as happy with their work

I haven’t been into this tattoo shop since I was 18 BUT they did 2 of my tattoos and both of them turned out perfect and they were so so nice to me! I got my dads name on my wrist and strength on my forearm and even now at almost 26 they still look almost brand new !
The ink has held impressively great and it’s clean and I didn’t pay much for each of them (of course this was years ago lol) but I would definitely recommend! And I plan to go back for my next tattoo soon :)

Worst tattoo ever! My mom, sister and I went here for three small tattoos. We were each charged $170 ( the most I've ever paid and it's my smallest tattoo). I was tattooed by Chris. It took almost two hours, partly because he stopped to eat some subway. The lines look shaky and the color faded after the first week, so I asked about a touch up. They said it would cost me $20. Never again!

I was not pleased at all. First I got my neck pierced, I had problems w it, Chris told me he had no responsibility because that piercer no longer worked there. Then I got a tattoo there after my papa died, it was a piece of art on wanted on my body to remind me of him when I look at it, but instead I get upset. when I signed the agreement that I was responsible for taking care of my tattoo, it also said that I was supposed to receive a 15-20 min FREE touchup. When I called to set up an appointment he said touchups were $40 minimum, and that tattooist doesn't work there anymore so I have to pay minimum, that was a month later. Then I think I will give them another chance ( only 2 tattoo shops in Albany ) so I go in there, they tell me to come back at 5:30, so I waited and went back at 5:30 on the dot, excited to get my tattoo I've been waiting for. I get told that they were too busy and we will have to reschedule for next week... I'm sorry, I'm definitely not satisfied with this service... Won't be going back. Don't know how he's lasted 4 years.
