I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s wanting a tattoo or piercing. Jason has done a couple of my tattoos and I’ll never go anywhere else. His line work is astonishing, and his overall artistry amazes me each time. He’s beyond talented and a true artist.
I’ve been going to Zach for my piercings and I also won’t go anywhere else. He has a grade A reputation and it’s well deserved. I have a crooked septum, and somehow he made my septum piercing look perfect. Again, extremely talented.
Lastly, the environment of the shop is awesome. Not only is it clean and inviting, but the atmosphere is fantastic. I always look forward to going to the shop.
Again, I highly recommend American National Tattoo to anyone. I know I’ll never go anywhere else for tattoos or piercings.

Highly recommend !! Came to Murf for my first tattoo and he was so wonderful that I came back for a second! The place is very clean and has a great vibe. Everyone there is super welcoming. They make you feel comfortable and make the process much less intimidating than it seems. Not to mention that their work is phenomenal!! Solid place.

The two artist who own this shop, I have known since their previous shop(about 5/6 years now). Both Murf and Jay, are amazing people and artists. They will talk with you about you want, they will give you their honest opinion about it. The shop is clean and a great atmosphere, easy to locate as well. I highly recommend them. Also, their piercer, Zack is great as well! He is APP Certified!!!!

Some of my friends have great tattoos from this shop, so I decided to check it out for a little filler tat. I worked with Max, and he was awesome! He was happy to change the size for me multiple times during the planning stage. He perfectly placed the tattoo between my other surrounding arm tattoos, and the size is just what I wanted.

I have had experiences in other shops in which I got the sense that my tattoo artist was either annoyed with my requests, or didn't really want to be there. I understand that they're human too and have bad days like the rest of us, but after the last time this happened to me, I swore I'd never let another person give me a permanent tattoo when it is so clear that giving me EXACTLY what I want is some kind of inconvenience to the artist.

Every employee of ANT I interacted with had a friendly, positive attitude. As I mentioned earlier, Max was happy to meet my needs, and I could tell that he really enjoys what he does. Good vibes all around. I will be returning.

Not to mention, I'm also extremely satisfied with the result of my tat!

Such an awesome experience! I was there a little over a week ago and my piercings are doing great. Since the piercings I got done are “intimate”, I was a little nervous, but not once did I feel uncomfortable. Both Zach and Allyx are so genuine. If you want the best piercings then you go to the best. Zach is the BEST. Plus, I got a cool sticker.

Absolutely love the shop! Clean, inviting, and professional are my initial observations. I’ve has the pleasure of being pierced by Zack Watson on several occasions and will continue to be a client for all of my piercing needs. He recently pierced my daughters ears and did a wonderful job! I highly recommend Zack Watson and American National tattoo.

Great experience! Got my (almost) 7 year olds ears pierced at Z Watson piercing (inside American National) and both Zack and Allyx were so reassuring and kind. They made the entire process very easy, nearly painless, and actually fun for her. I felt very good about the time they took with her as well as the general cleanliness of the shop. It is more expensive than a mall kiosk piercing, but I think the quality of their work and of the jewelry they sell makes the price of a piercing there well worth it. True professionals!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Jason, Murf, Zack and Eleanor. They’re all incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating and willing to work with you to make sure you’re getting exactly what you want. The shop is clean, the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly and everything that comes out of this shop is genuine and absolutely amazing from piercings to tattoos. Zack and Eleanor have been wonderful with answering my questions about piercings and Murf and Jason have been great at working with me to make my ideas come to life. If you want amazing work, I would recommend any of these fine folks.

Great people and great atmosphere. Zack is amazing and professional and make sure to answer and questions asked and to make sure his clients are comfortable. Jason does amazing tattoo work and will help to come up with the next tattoo and make sure you are satisfied. Murf is amazing as well. Best place to go in the Pittsburgh area and I will recommend anyone to go there.
