Studio 29 Tattoo

I was very excited to find a female-owned tattoo studio in the area to get my first tattoo, and Studio 29 did not disappoint! Gerel is an incredibly talented tattoo artist and designed a very special tattoo for me that came out great. She is super down to earth, friendly, and explained everything about the tattoo process clearly, which I really appreciated. Very professional, clean studio. Highly recommend!

I have had 2 tattoos done at Studio 29 and can’t say enough great things about both women there. It was 2 great experiences from each one from the planning and artwork to the actual tattoo. The shop is welcoming, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend them and will be planning my next one soon and won’t go anywhere but Studio 29!

I tried to call to make an appointment to get my first tattoo. Which has great meaning to me, and my family. When my call was answered I was told that I needed to make an appointment for a consultation, but when I asked how to go about that because this would be my first tattoo, I got hung up on. It was very rude and disrespectful. I could have just been told that they didn't want to tattoo me instead of rudely hanging up the phone. It ruined my first experience of trying to get my first tattoo, so thanks.

Incredible experience working with Erik. From concept to execution he was easy to work with and showed both enthusiasm and professionalism that made me very comfortable to get in his chair. The studio itself was a very clean and low-stress environment. I’d recommend putting this shop on anyone’s short list for custom tattoos.

A 43 year old newbie! Erik Sacony and the rest of the folks at Studio 29 were absolutely fantastic. If you’re reading this and a first timer like me, I can’t speak more highly of Erik and the professionalism of the shop, super clean and inviting. I’ve been looking to get a tattoo since my college days. (When I turned 40 I was determined to do it, so really it only took three more years :) ). My reluctance has only been because I could never find the right art/artist to do the work (and the needles)... In-steps Erik who sent me beautiful sketch of exactly what I was looking for. We set up a date and I time and off I went. When I arrived at Studio 29 Erik walked me through the entire process and equipment before we started. Erik’s patience was crucial in calming my slight anxiety and he allowed for as many breaks as I needed. Once the tattoo was complete Erik carefully explained the aftercare instructions and sent me on my way. But it doesn’t stop there, I’m just about a week in and Erik continues to periodically check-in to make sure everything is progressing as it should (I also had a few questions and he got right back to me). So if you’re a first timer like me, or a just looking to add some new ink to your skin portfolio, this is definitely the place to go.

From the first consult through the actual procedure, Gail was very thorough, patient and has a wonderful "bedside manner" which I so appreciated as a first time tattoo customer. She was communicative before my actual appointment and great about answering my questions. Great experience which made me feel comfortable. Her studio is clean and health is a top priority, which I also appreciated. Her assistant Robin is incredibly nice as well. Highly recommend!

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience at studio 29 with Erik Sacony! He is a total class act! He provided excellent service from the time of consult, through my several changes and requests, providing me with an astonishing end result! It’s better than I could’ve ever envisioned! Just got a friendship tattoo with my best friends here and we all had a GREAT experience. Gail and Robin were incredibly nice and professional. Despite Covid restrictions not letting us all be together, the atmosphere was extremely comfortable. Honestly just a cool pair of ladies. Will definitely be going back for some individual pieces.

The first time I went I told Gerel, I wanted I love you in Spanish…which is Te quiero. I let her know I’m up for anything do what you do. She hooked it up unbelievably where she placed it in a heart and incorporated my sons and husbands first letter of their name in it. She placed it on my neck and she was so gentle before I realized it, it was over. Since then she had a customer in me. My second piece was day of the dead, I told her have fun with it and put your style in it. When it was time to get it done it looked totally awesome and I couldn’t believe it. The best part is her partner too Robin, they make you feel so comfortable and welcomed we talked the whole time for both tattoos. The second I sat for 6 hours but it felt like 3 because we were just talking and laughing. Loyal customer already have ideas for my next one .
