I went to Chakra Tattoo with my friend while we were visiting Denver. This is one of the cleanest tattoo shops I have ever been in. We were treated like family while we were there. Theo welcomed us in with such great vibes and made us feel super comfortable. He gave me my first tattoo and two others on my mom. Super chill space and awesome decorations. Another artist who was there with a beard (I forgot to ask his name) was very warm and welcoming as well and we all had great conversation! I’m from Louisiana but will def come back if I’m back in Colorado. The tattoos came out great(:

Went in for a small tattoo last September. You could tell the gentleman didn't want to do it because I was limited on time and money (Yes, I know, my fault). What he did to my wrist while tattooing was uncalled for.. No exaggeration, I bled so much that the guy at the restaurant over an hour later had to bring me multiple paper towels to keep from dripping blood everywhere. No alcohol. No nothing. He.. tore.. into me. Why did I wait so long to leave a review? Because I just had a different artist cover up his faulty work, and it looks amazing. There were many other people tattooing, including an apprentice that did great work on my buddies.. I wish I could remember his name, but, alas, the business will take the 1 star review for his "efforts".

Great moment shared with Beto at Chakra tattoo. After three weeks travelling in the mid west ending in Denver, I wanted to get back home with a special souvenir from that trip. I walked in and I was directly warmly welcomed and felt comfortable even though I was a bit stressed since it was my first tattoo. Beto did a great job. He was very professional, clean and we shared really nice discussions. I definitely recommend Chakra tattoo. My husband followed my lead and is also 100% satisfied! If I didn’t live that far (Belgium), I would for sure come back at Chakra tattoo for my second one! 🤩

For those who don’t know what the Medusa tat means for a woman to switch up her power when she was treated unjustly. It’s a very meaningful tat. I got my tattoo done last weekend and the artist who did it got the letter wrong on my Roman numeral date. I will also say..I NEVER write bad reviews and haaaate doing this. Anyway. It’s very clear he drew a straight line and went off stencil because the V that is circled does not match the other one. Also, it’s supposed to be an X. NOT a V. I verified the stencil and showed him the dates a couple of times. So I’m not sure what happened. Maybe he wiped too much stencil off? I called the next day after I took the bandage off to see how to go about getting it fixed. I was told the “boss man” would call. This did not happen. Instead, the artist who did it called and just wanted to go back and forth on whose fault it was. Again, I am not one to complain and I was like…at this point it’s done so how do we fix it? I have lost trust that it would be corrected after that conversation. STILL haven’t heard from “boss man” whoever that is. And now I have to go to another artist to get this fixed. I would not have even left a review if I had someone contact me to try to solve this. But here we are. Now I have to add other things to it when I did not want a large tattoo there.
