The shop was clean and friendly. This review is for the tattoo artist Alisha Rice, whom I saw there, on Broadway, December of 2019. It has taken me this long to post a review because it was so upsetting. When I asked for a break, she said, "I prefer to push through." I requested a fine line tattoo and got bulky, dark undefined tattoo. Overall, I got the sense she didn't want to work with me, not a good feeling when you are vulnerable and trusting someone.

This review is in no way indicative of my experience at think tank tattoo, it is focused on their artist Alex Meekin. In short, I would not recommend Alex, he left me with worst case scenario, opted out of the half finished cover up that he committed to finishing per my large deposit and also gave me no notice on canceling my appointment after I had driven 7 hours with 2 nights hotel. It his defense, he did say that his child was sick. Whether or not that is true he did not want to reschedule and wanted to fight me on returning my deposit. This coupled with at least three documented reschedulings because he wrote the date incorrectly. In the end, he did return the last of my deposit. But I am left with a half finished cover up, travel expenses and a wasted weekend. And his comment: good luck with that. In summary he is short tempered and short of professionalism.

Superb experience. I decided to walk-in, and within minutes of when I submitted an idea of the design I'd like, Drew recreated his own design and printed out 3 different sizes for me to pick from. I was seated promptly after I chose the size I liked, and the entire process only took about 30-50min. Although it's still healing and on day 4 at the moment, I'm impressed and so happy. Despite being located on the wrist, this tattoo was much less painful than expected and super quick. Will be coming back to Drew for my next! ✨️✨️

While in town, my husband and I wanted to get a spontaneous tattoo. We found this gem where they have a wheel that you can spin for $100 and you get whatever tattoo the pointer lands on. This is exactly what we were looking for. We went during Halloween weekend, so all of the tattoos on the wheel were Halloween related. I got what I wanted on the first try and my husband paid an extra $20 to get a second spin and ended up getting what he wanted. The tattoo artist (unfortunately, I can’t remember his name) tatted both of us in about 30-40 minutes max. We were impressed with the overall atmosphere of the shop, the customer service and the cleanliness.
