David prioritizes his clients’ comfort and goes the extra mile to make sure that every detail is perfect. I’m addition, he is a true artist at heart and it is expressed through his work. As for the shop, Tribe tattoo might be my favorite tattoo shop with the layout and “good vibes.” The shop is decorated in a way that inspires even more creativity and art while NOT appearing cluttered or overwhelming. Very professional and clean with nice chill people. Though, I won’t be coming back because of the outrageous price for simple linework within 2-3 inches ($120 before tip). Its also the first place I’ve been to where the tattoo artists themselves don’t set up their tattooing station, and has someone else do it for them. I believe tattoos are an energy exchange, and that doesn’t feel taken into account when the artist isn’t present for the whole experience. Very lovely place on Santa Fe that I recommend going to, though personally wasn’t thrilled by.
