I came here (while on vacation) as a walk in. Ed & Danielle were both extremely helpful and pleasant through the entire experience. I absolutely love the tattoo Danielle did, as simple as it was! I highly recommend you make an appointment since I got lucky as a walk in but they'll be worth the wait!

Owners Dannielle and Eddie are friendly and know what they are doing. Made a somewhat painful procedure bearable. Eddie was always making sure I was OK and comfortable. Dannielle did my niece's work and we are both very pleased with our new tattoos.

me and my girlfriend went in for walk in tattoos and eddie did them for us. they turned out amazing! he worked with us to find the design and size that would work within our budget and had a really calming and comforting environment. we would absolutely be recommend the groovy rooster to anyone in key west looking to get a tattoo!

I dropped in as soon as I got to town. Eddie was with another patron and he politely stopped and asked me if he could help. I asked if he was taking walk ins on Christmas Eve day. He was able to fit me in with my small request. He was polite and super friendly and I enjoyed our corvernation during my tattoo. He may even get a pop in the next time we are down here!

Went to the Groovy Rooster for myself and a coverup for my husband. Eddie and Danielle were both very outgoing a professional. Loved the laid back atmosphere and professional work they both did. You can tell they take pride in their art. We will definitely go back. I would highly recommend them

AMAZING! My husband and I went to Key West December 2022 as a part of our honey moon and wanted to get matching tattoos for our son. We are SO happy we went to Groovy Rooster rather than the tattoo shops that were a little closer to the cruise ship ports. The amazing couple that own the shop were so friendly and made our tattoo experience so fun and one to remember. Not only did they do great work, by far the friendliest tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. Felt like family!

Danielle did an amazing tattoo of a pelican for me. I had a picture- she had a picture- she blended them together and he’s beautiful. Knowing I’m scared of needles she did her best to keep me relaxed , comfortable. She gave me the size I wanted , the colors I wanted. She and Eddie are wonderful teammates/ co workers and also cute as a button couple 😊. Danielle and Eddie, thank you so much for a wonderful experience and a wonderful forever memory of a wonderful trip. Will send anyone your way I can and take care 😍

My husband and I have wanted to do "matching" tattoos for a few years during anniversary trips. The timing either wasn't right, we didn't find the right design/artist/vibe, etc. We researched a lot before coming to Key West and decided to visit the Groovy Rooster. We went in several days prior to our tattoos to talk with Eddie and Danielle, they were awesome! Booked right then for the day we were heading back to Miami. While we got "matching" tattoos, they worked with us to fit the designs individually. This is a place that sincerely cares about your experience, your story and isn't going to just run you through the process when you're a tourist. Danielle was great about explaining why certain areas (Wrist, lower ankle, etc) weren't great places to put a tattoo..when others really don't care what your ink looks like once you go back home. Pricing was great, the actual process was as painless as possible, they are a great couple who will make sure you get what you are looking for!

Danielle was great! She is very kind, sweet, & professional. I hadn't had a tattoo in in over 20 years. She was great with after care tips. Eddie was awesome also, both are very personable & do great color work.

Went in for my first tattoo and couldn't be happier with the work that Eddie did. The shop was clean and he was professional and made sure I was happy with everything before he started. Is anybody's getting their first tattoo or just wanting more work done I couldn't recommend them higher.
