I visited Marissa Olney at Southernmost Tattoo in the summer of 2021 with my son to get leg tattoos (neotraditional). It was his first tattoo, so it was a special father and son bonding moment. Marissa was simply amazing in every way. Her creativity, execution, attention to detail and above all, warm and friendly personality made it something we will always remember and treasure. I recently just had a bicep piece done by Mia. Not only does she do amazing work as an artist but she’s also extremely chill and easy to vibe with. I went for a design and when the day of the tattoo came and I saw the piece I was blown away! She’s a very talented artist and her chair side manners are also great. She’s super easy to talk to and also it doesn’t feel awkward when sitting in silence. I’m already planning on getting another tattoo done by her soon. Definitely recommend!

Southernmost is a great place, highly recommended. My wife and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary and decided to get our 1st tattoo together. The experience and service was amazing. Henri helped my wife design hers and Danny did mine, since it was our 1st tattoo I’m sure we weren’t easy to deal with but they were both amazing and we left extremely happy!! Stopped by later that night as we were walking Duval street and Danny again went out of his way to make sure everything was good and we had what we needed for after care. Highly recommend this great place and all their staff!! We will be back.

After getting conch piercings last year that went really well I returned here for rook piercings a couple of days ago. It went well but I found it odd that I was pierced with studs. I later found out that not only should I not have a straight stud in a rook, I should never have been pierced with a butterfly back earring (they’re linked to bad healing, easily gather grime, etc.). I’m going to visit a new piercer as soon as possible and have them assess it. I'd hate to think I was targeted. Super disappointing when the studio seems so professional.

Do not get a tattoo by Shane if he still works at this shop - he groaps customers and the ironic thing is, it was a tattoo that clearly represented the need for consent. Will never go back, but one bad artist doesn't make a bad company, however be mindful who you hire in the future.
