I have a few ear piercings that have closed up and I wanted them redone with the intention of it being done properly at a reputable place (because I got a few infections in the past). Read the great reviews and about the affordability and decided to walk-in to Double Edge. I wanted 3 ear piercings (2 repierced, 1 new). I also have 1 piercing that has never closed up and I pointed that out to the person helping me. I should've been more explicit on which piercings I needed to be repierced, but the person helping me pointed to the ones I wanted done so I thought we were good. Turned out he accidentally pierced the one piercing that I did not want done (the one that wasn't closed). The mirror wasn't in front of me, so I didn't know, and I was super nervous and anxious so I didn't really focus on feeling where the piercing was. The person was apologetic and immediately pierced the one he was supposed to, removed the wrong one, and only charged me for the 3 piercings. But since he pierced slightly off of the original hole, now there are 2 piercings right next to each other. I felt super bummed about this and scared that the original hole would close up. Thankfully, 3 days later, it seems fine. I ended up paying $110 for 3 piercings ($70 for 2 and $40 for 1). I did not get to choose the piercing. There was no cleaning kit (not sure if that's common). Also, the piercings they use do not have the pointy end exposed. So if you are a side sleeper, it will not poke you! I don't think I've seen these elsewhere (Claire's) so I'm glad I went here after all!

Great shop !! SUPER welcoming and I didn’t feel intimidated at all. Prices are fair and service is amazing. My piercer made small talk with me which made me feel comfortable being there. He was also very helpful in helping me decide what to do as well as inform me about the aftercare, types of jewlery etc. Would definitely be coming back for future piercings !!!
