My sister and I just went here for her first tattoo. She wanted a small tattoo. We were told the 2 tattoos would be $225. We thought “oh okay the artist must be good and take his time. Maybe fine needle work” but, this artist (I won’t use names)was rude and he took 15 minutes to finish and the line work was shaky. And he told her to leave the dressing on for 5 days, but, I have multiple tattoos and was always told one-2 days for small tattoos. They need to breathe. I am very disappointed in this experience because I don’t want to tell my sister that her first tattoos were a rip off.

We walked in to get simple line art tattoos. Everything seemed chill until they quoted us $200 each for 1x1 sized line art. I would have easily paid the $100 minimum. I didn’t want to insult the artists time, but I have a half sleeve that included line work and shading from an artist back home whose books fill up. The quote provided just didn’t make sense for me, based upon my previous experiences. If you’re looking for something simple, do yourself a favor and go Downtown. We found an adorable place and it cost over 50% less than what GV quoted. We love our new tattoos from TDC!

WARNING: THIEVES!! This resulted in the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever encountered. I can’t comprehend how they stay open, if they do business in this fashion. The shop required a deposit for all appointments (prior to having the ability to simply discuss tattoo options with an artist) and would not discuss pricing or artwork until day of appointment bc the artists “are too busy!” Since we had a very simple tattoo request that was to match Mom’s tattoo, we figured any artist would be fine. We paid a $200 deposit for a Saturday appointment with Jonathan, a brand new employee at the shop. On day of appointment, Jonathan looked at tattoo for the first time and quoted $1,600 for our small tattoo. This is 4x higher rate than Mom paid for same tattoo (at another shop) 2 months earlier, which she paid only $400. He advised his price was $1600 & his quality is better (what a joke) or we could go elsewhere (but with ZERO refund for deposit) claiming all deposits are non-refundable. So, BE WARNED that if you disagree with rates or recommendations on day of appointment, your options are only to be taken advantage of - or lose your deposit!! Unfathomable! In sum, without ever drawing one single thing up, he kept our $200 deposit! We left & received the exact same tattoo choice on same day at Inkspot down street for $400 and of course wasted $200 throwing away our deposit but it still costed us $1,000 less to walk away from our deposit than absorbing his astronomical almost comical $1,600 rate. Run, don’t walk, run away before being swindled by an Ego driven shop, with a condescending artist approach. While this may have taken place in Feb 2022 and Jonathon no longer is employed there, the management team at this shop supported the decision to keep my deposit for NO WORK done, because I refused paying the highly inflated unreasonable rate. Tried twice to get a tattoo here …figured maybe it was just one person having a bad day, let’s give them another chance… but nope both times was greeted by awful, rude , disrespectful staff and one of the artists came out from the back to meet me and didn’t say a word, looked like he was having the worst day ever, and didn’t want to be there and didn’t want any clients, I even had to ask if he was ok his attitude was so bad. They don’t care at all about their customers. There are lots of better places to go, that will treat you with respect and will show that they appreciate you and your business. Do NOT settle for this place. I left and went to an amazing spot in Universal Studios and was welcomed with amazing and friendly staff and artists who appreciate their customers and everyone who entered their facility. To respond to your reply... You must be talking about someone completely different. It sounds like another bad experience at your shop. I have no idea who that response was for but it certainly was not my situation at all! Before you respond you should know what you are actually talking about. So on to my situation, It was NOT holiday hours and there was only 2 customers inside. I called ahead and was told to come in, so I did and when the artist came out to meet us he had a seriously bad attitude, took a quick glance at my phone at the photo and said he cant do it and then told me no one in the building can tattoo a bird and no one even wanted to talk about what I wanted to have done.
