Let this art work speak for itself. An incredible amount of trust goes into letting an artist do a piece that is so visible. He takes his time to make sure everything is put into place with care and confidence. Positive atmosphere, the fine lines, attention to detail, and light conversation make the experience really enjoyable. He tattoos as gently as he speaks and without a doubt one of the best experiences I have ever had with an artist! He will keep you running back to his chair, to have this absolutely stunning work done every time!

Some of the cleanest line work, and finest attention to detail I’ve seen not just in Florida, but in all of my traveling! Tattoos that are unique and heal perfectly without lightening up a ton. Entire experience was great down to the laughter that makes you feel at ease while getting tattooed! Genuinely surprised he doesn’t charge more, I will definitely be turning this into a sleeve! With his work flow you get so much done that you immediately want to set up more appointments! 10/10 experience

VERY CONTENT with both his work and his patience with me! Was totally okay with having to take a break when I got super lightheaded, and helped me recover so we could finish. Overall, 10/10, absolutely coming back.

He’s definitely 5’5” but he ain’t ugly ugly. We sat down for a consult and set an egg timer for 30 minutes, we finished with 29 minutes to spare. Plenty of time to ketchup, it was nice and cool on there some we all know it gets 2 🌭 in Florida. I watched his triumphant beard grow with every every helpful and informative sentence. Surely he must’ve had bursitis cause his arms were very swoll or he could’ve hit a few push-ups before I arrived, still unclear. However he’s the tallest 5’5” I’ve ever seen and would highly recommend 🫡

This was my first tattoo, and Steven went above and beyond to make sure it was a great experience. He was friendly and fun to work with, and also took the time to make sure the design and placement were perfect. His attention to detail is phenomenal - it turned out better than I'd ever imagined!

Steven is good peeps as I would say. He is professional and clearly has not only the skills but the passion for what he does. I had a memorial tattoo of my mother on my forearm and truly watched it come to life. He captured the emotion and the persona of her from the photograph. If you seriously want quality this is your guy. He puts himself into his work and it shows. Check out his gallery and you will see what I got from it the first time I looked at it. If I ever move and need another piece done, I will travel to wherever he is.

From start to finish, Steven provided an exceptional experience. The interview process is streamlined and sets a great first impression. His professionalism is complimented by his ability to interpret client wishes and transform them into works of art. My tattoo was a re-do of a quite old piece, and instead of turning me away he laid out a few options and set reasonable expectations on what we could accomplish. We agreed on a general outline and set a date. A few days before the appt he emailed me a rough draft of his design and it was exactly what we had envisioned together. The day of the tattoo again, everything was smooth and easy. Steven works with the sure confident hand of someone who takes pride and passion in his work. He takes time to educate on the process as well and makes you feel right at home as he works. My finished piece turned out better than I could have imagined, and his ability to transform what was in my mind onto skin is remarkable. He took a tired faded piece and created an entirely new work of art, I couldn't be more pleased. I cannot recommend Steven and Catharsis Tattoos enough, and I think you can tell from the other reviews that Im not alone in that opinion. This was such a great experience. Excellently kept studio, fantastic customer service. Steven is wildly talented. I contacted him last minute about a piece I wanted and he made it come true! I hope to come back one day for another piece, as this was a way to commemorate a vacation. Highly recommend.
