Didn’t get a chance to make an appointment because the front clerk was so incredibly rude. Not a bad wait or price but the service is lacking. Asked if there was a waiting list I could put my name on and his was response was “that’s how a waiting list works.” Looked at tattoos a bit and walked out because how could I let someone tattoo me after belittling me? Terrible customer service.

Stopped in while on a trip to Salem. The customer service was great however I can’t say the same about the quality of my tattoo. The shop minimum was $150 which is understandable given that it was in October. I got a simple solid moon on my wrist. The lines are uneven and it looks like it was done with a sharpie.

Came for the flash sale with some friends while on our trip. The shop was clean, my artist was super nice and I enjoyed talking to him. Unfortunately I’m not super happy with the line work of the tattoo. My friends had different artists and theirs came out sooooo beautifully, but mine not so much. The lines are super shaky and not straight at all, as someone with a lot of other tattoos my “standards” aren’t super high but this work is just super subpar especially for a flash sale

Wanted to get a commemorative tattoo with my mother and friend for our first trip to Salem, waited in line and such for about 45 minutes, and then got called in. We already knew what we wanted, it was a tiny moon on our fingers. Supposedly they were only doing tattoos on arms and legs that day (Wednesday, Oct. 19th).. so we weren’t able to get them. Come to find out, they did a shoulder tattoo for the ladies behind us. I don’t understand how hands aren’t an extension of the arm but the shoulder counts. To each their own I suppose.

Witch City Ink was GREAT, we were in Salem this weekend and I knew I wanted a tattoo. I had looked at Witch City Ink before we left NY and when we got to Salem and checked them out they were super nice and accommodating. I looked through their Flash Tattoo books which had tons of awesome designs but I had an idea in my head of what I wanted and thats when I met my artist Mateo. He was amazing, I showed him a couple pictures of what I had in mind and he took some picture and drew up something adorable for me. Now if you have read the other comments there are a few complaining about the wait and what not... This is a Flash Tattoo shop in the middle of a heavy tourist area, you are not the only person who wants a tattoo there is going to be a wait, if you truly want a tattoo it is worth the wait, don't hate on them for being busy. They open at Noon and thats the best time to get there and get your name on the list! We got there at noon and got my name on their call sheet and then went out and enjoyed the rest of Salem, by 3 pm we had done our shopping and it was my turn for my tattoo! Mateo had drawn the cutest little ghost for me and I was so excited and he had such a good energy that it just made me more excited! He was fast and my tattoo is beautiful, I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Witch City Ink and Mateo for this great memory of Salem.

I emailed them over a month in advance to book am appointment. They emailed back saying they were booked but would take me as a walk in. I show up and the woman asked what I wanted, was very rude about it, and after talking to the artists informs me that they won't do it because I wanted it behind my war. She tells me there are no artists here who do that placement. She didn't even ask if I wanted it somewhere else. They're very rude and act like you're not worth their time. She could have been nice. When I asked if it would be better to come another day she said, no, no artist will do that. They act like they don't need your money. Definitely try another place with customer service skills. It's obviously just a money grab for them because of their location.
