I’ve been tattooed at multiple different shops by multiple artists, and I can say that my sessions at Dead Sure Studio have been my best tattoo experiences by far. The shop is clean, comfortable, and inviting. My artist Aaron is extremely professional: communicative, respectful, patient, and overall pleasant to sit with. He’s very easy to connect with about ideas/projects, and executes masterful work. He’s also one of the few/only artists in the Midwest who specializes in blackwork/blackout tattoos (though he does color pieces that are just as incredible). Aaron (as well as the other artists at the shop) sends his clients home with a thoughtful aftercare package, and walks you through the process and expectations for healing your tattoo. These guys are very intentional about giving their clients the best overall experience possible from start to finish, and it makes a world of difference. I absolutely recommend checking this place out.

Walking into this place feels like you're just coming to vibe with some friends for a few hours. The studio is so cozy, everyone is nice as hell, and their tattoos are incredible. I've been to Aaron twice at this point for blackout stuff. Not only is his work amazing, but he really goes the extra mile to make sure you're comfortable. He checks in often, offers snacks/juice if you're dying, and is just an all around nice dude. I got really lightheaded after a recent appointment with him, and he took the extra time to make sure I felt better before I left. Seriously a stand up guy. Can't recommend him enough.

I spent the better part of this year (and so did my wife) visiting Jessie for custom work on and off. I had at least 7 sessions, and my wife had 4-5. All of our tattoos are some of the most impressive work I’ve seen anywhere online or in person, and Jessie went above and beyond to make us feel at home, comfortable and appreciated. You can tell she pours everything she has into her designs and learning new skills and I really can’t recommend her enough. She deserves every bit of the crazy schedule she’s earned 😁

Highly recommend this. Had an absolutely amazing time. Design of the shop is great and inviting. Each artist does phenomenal work. B was the one to do my newest piece and she rocked it. Talked with me the whole time, recommended great food places that were local, and allocated plenty of time to make sure my piece would come out just the way I wanted it.
