Miss V is the most talented tattoo artist I’ve came across in STL area. I walked in with some many ideas and she sat down and took note of everything. We are currently doing a sleeve and her creativity is beyond words. She will make sure your comfortable and will talk through the whole process. The location is great and parking is right in front. Great food and bars less then a 5 minute walking distance. She worked on a tattoo I had done 5 years ago touched it up and finished it exactly how I wanted it. If your looking to take your creativity and get the tattoo exactly the way you imagine it Miss V is the one to go to !!!!!!!!

Let me preface my review with this: There is certainly great talent at Onyx Dagger and most clients seem to have a positive experience at this establishment, so I don't discourage anyone from exploring this place as a tattoo studio of choice. However, my interactions were different from the other reviews and led me to look elsewhere. I struggled with whether or not to post this review, but decided my experience should be shared with the purpose of transparency. In my search for a reliable and skilled female tattoo artist in the St. Louis area with clean lines and a good reputation, I found Valencia at Onyx Dagger online. It seems online booking is not the way to go when seeking a consultation at Onyx Dagger because their availability online does not reflect the artist's actual schedule. Despite my willingness to accommodate the artist and my flexibility in our correspondence when her availability changed the night before my appointment (which I scheduled a week earlier), I was not offered an apology or even any personal message for the inconvenience to me. Skill, proficiency style and experience are definitely search criteria when looking for a tattoo artist and, from what I've read and seen online, Valencia and Onyx Dagger have that. However, equally important is caring, consideration, customer service, reliability, professionalism, and respect. These qualities matter to me asa potential client. Unfortunately, I felt these qualities were missing from my interactions with Valencia and, therefore, decided against trusting Onyx Dagger with my body. Hope others continue to have good experiences with Onyx Dagger. Sadly, I did not.

Once again Valencia was great! She was flexible with my time schedule and my tat turned out phenomenal!! Highly recommend her 💉😄👍

Miss V opened the shop just for us in the middle of a snow storm while we were visiting in town. Her work is amazing! Our tattoos done by her are our favorite ones. Shop was cute and clean. Miss V has the best personality. I am definitely going back the next time I'm in town.

I had my first session with Valencia this week, and it was a DREAM. This spot is a very painful one and I was nervous, but she was so patient, kind, and supportive in the process it *almost* made me forget. She is also very gentle for a tattoo artist. I am heavily tattooed but can honestly say this was one of the best tattooing experiences I've ever had. I will definitely stick with her even when this piece is finished!

Such a lovely woman! Miss Valencia is hands down the kindest tattoo artist I've ever sat down for. She did a sunflower tattoo on my side and it was gorgeous. Her bedside manner was so great that it made me forget that I was getting tattooed on my ribs!! 10/10 recommend getting on her books. Best tattoo artist in St. Louis!!!!

Valencia is without a doubt the best artist I’ve ever been to! Her bright and bubbly personality made my tattoo experience with her so much fun and relaxing. I highly recommend her to ANYONE who is looking to get a tattoo. If I could give her more than just 5 stars I definitely would!!

No one makes you feel more comfortable and at ease than Valencia. I don’t know if it’s her 15 years of experience, the fact she’s still tattooing while she’s getting her master’s degree or simply the fact that she’s incredibly personable, but for the ten minutes my simple finger tattoo took, Valencia and I were talking like old friends for an hour. I truly believe that you cross paths with the right people at the right time, and I can wholeheartedly say Valencia is one of those people. Double bonus for STL people who are SLU alum - she is an alum as well!! I cannot recommend her and her services enough.

The atmosphere of this shop is unbelievably welcoming and full of positivity. Valencia was amazing, made me feel super comfortable for my first tattoos. Everyone’s energy was uplifting and made me laugh and smile the entire time. Definitely recommend 100/10 and my tattoos are awesome!

Had the best experience with Valencia. First off she gives customer service above and beyond. She's extremely professional and puts you at ease. On top of all that she's a sweetie and is damn good at what she does! We are already planning our next tattoo.
