Tattoo the Lou Studio

This was my first ever like. Tattoo ever. Guy who did my tattoo was so laid back and chill. Definitely helped ease me and what not. It’s not even painful it’s more of an annoyance if anyone is wanting to get a tattoo. Definitely coming to these guys to get this colored whenever I decide I want it colored

I just got a tattoo with Natalie and she did an outstanding job! She worked with me on the design and the tattoo turned out so beautiful. The atmosphere of the shop was relaxed and fun! My tattoo is healing nicely. I can’t recommend them more!

Got a small flower tattoo on my upper arm and had an overall great experience. The space was clean and the staff was friendly and professional. Nathalie was patient and thorough during the whole process and was more than willing to work with me on design and placement. Very happy with the quality of the work and the commitment to safe, beautiful tattoos.

I've gone here twice to get two different tattoos by two different artists because I wanted two different styles. Both were incredibly courteous, talented, and they created a comfortable environment.

This shop is amazing! They did a really meaningful memorial piece for me and it was such an incredible experience I brought my cousin in for a tattoo as well. Both pieces turned out beautifully. The shop is so beautiful, clean, and covered in incredible art. The aesthetic overall is impressive and the people who work there are so friendly and professional. My artist was very caring and walked me through the whole process, and while she was working several other artists came by to check in and offer me water and such. The atmosphere was so welcoming and I was so at ease during my time there. I did not feel out of place or awkward, as this was only tattoo number two for me, and I tend to be a bit shy. 100% recommend this place to newbies and veterans alike! I cannot recommend this studio enough to everyone in the STL area. Clean shop, fantastic artists, great atmosphere. Hands down my most enjoyable experiencing getting a tattoo. I’ll be returning in the near future. Check them out! You won’t be disappointed.

First time @ Tattoo the Lou Studio Safety & Cleanliness was on 💯 Loved the open layout and all the artwork depicted throughout the studio. Appt was with David for custom lettering (which he Rocked out btw) and he along with the entire staff was extremely welcoming. I mean these folks offered water, granola bars, and cookies, who does that?! It was awesome👌 Tattoo hurt like hell lmao but it was worth every second! Will definitely be visiting again

My friends and I got matching tattoos here and had a great experience! Natalie worked with each of us to individualize the placement of our piece and made sure we were all comfortable (this was our first tattoo experience). The studio was clean and everyone who worked there was extremely welcoming!

I had my first tattoo done here and it was a great experience! Natalie was so friendly and turned an intimidating experience into one where I felt totally comfortable and control! The receptionist was great, too -- a really friendly environment :)

My mom and I went in to get tattoo's in honor of my son. They were beyond amazing!!! From the moment we walked in the door, they were friendly, kind and compassionate to the situation. We were walk-ins and they squeezed us in. Natalie did a great job and made us feel super comfortable and is a great artist. I got tattooed here by Natalie in February 2021. The whole staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The shop is clean, open, and comfortable. Natalie gave me exactly what I wanted, was sensitive to my low pain tolerance, and allowed me to take breaks from the process as I needed. She even helped me find the perfect aftercare balm for my new piece and gave me helpful instructions for the healing process. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in St. Louis or surrounding areas!

I recently got a tattoo done by Natalie, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Just told her what I wanted and let her do the rest, it came out perfect, my favorite tattoo so far. It was also the most comfortable I’ve ever been in a shop. Relaxed, welcoming, super clean. Love the environment and can’t wait to go back!
