Kimmy Tatts Studio

Kimmy Tatts is probably the only tattoo studio I'm ever going to go to. Their customer service and professionalism is unmatched, not to mention I feel safe in the environment. Thank you Chloe for both of my tattoos!!

Fish did such a beautiful job, saying that I’m in love with their work would be an understatement. They were so patient with me and accommodating to all my needs as far as being so open to and receptive to a few of the changes I wanted to make to the design. I’ve had not so great experiences with other artists at different shops so it was really refreshing being able to be vocal about minor details that I wanted to change without feeling like I was asking for too much, like Fish said it is permanent and it is my body so I’m so thankful to have had an artist like this. Will without a doubt be coming to this shop again, it’s so clean and so cute, staff is so so kind and the environment all together was just amazing.

I received my first tattoo by Kimmy. The whole experience from booking to the appointment went so smoothly. Kimmy was extremely responsive, answered my questions and worked with me to get the design and sizing just how I wanted. On the day of my appointment I arrived at the shop, everyone from check in to when I left were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable. Kimmy was professional, the studio felt clean, and the entire process was quick and painless for me. I will absolutely recommend Kimmy and her team to anyone looking to get a tiny tattoo :)

Absolutely amazing experience. I worked with Kimmy to do a full floral spine piece. She showed me her design and it was so beautiful and elegant. My original appointment was on a Wednesday and unfortunately there was a power outage. Kimmy was so flexible and worked me in 2 days later (even though I know how busy and booked she is!). When I came back on Friday, it was such a positive experience. Such a warm and welcoming team of artists. Fantastic music and such a relaxing environment. Kimmy's line work is beyond amazing. The level of detail she incorporated is incredible. I would absolutely book here for many more tattoos. 10/10 would recommend this shop and can't speak highly enough of her work. There is definitely a reason she is so booked!! She is worth the wait, trust me!!

Went there for the first time last September had my first tattoo it was amazing!! Angel did an amazing job doing my tattoo! I am definitely coming back!

Chloe did an amazing job on a ghost I added to my collection. The tattoo looks amazing and her color saturation is on point. I can’t wait to get more tattoos from her.

This shop is wonderful!!! I got tattoos done by both angel and fish and I love them so much. Everyone truly cares about their clients and wants them to have the best experience ever. I really like that they go over your design before hand and make sure it’s what to want/like, they are very careful with designing to fits everyone’s tastes as well. I also like how every artist caters to a certain style, it makes it easier depending on what you plan on getting too! I would definitely recommend coming here, I can’t wait to get more!!!

I’ve gotten 3 tattoos from here and Kimmy is the absolute best! This place is now very meaningful for myself due to getting my first ever tattoo from here as well! I always feel comfortable and very welcome whenever I get a tattoo here. Kimmys work is absolutely incredible and will give you exactly what you want I always get compliments from my tattoos at work and tell them my tattoos are from here !!

I loved the atmosphere of the shop. I got tattooed by Kimmy. Even though I came from Europe and was not able to discuss much before the appointment, the communication on site was very good and easy. I love the work she did so much and if I would have stayed longer in Reno I might have gotten a second tattoo. If you choose the studio you will be very well taken care of! Im so glad i came across Kimmy while looking for my first tattoo, and I dont think I'll ever go to another studio. I've had three done; one by kimmy herself, her amazing apprentice Angel, and former apprentice Em! All of them are so pretty and everything I hoped they'd be and more (though I am biased towards my spine piece done by Angel ;) I felt so comfortable and relaxed at her studio, everyone is kind, welcoming, professional, and its a totally judgment free zone. I recommend kimmy to everyone who asks! Can't wait to book my next tattoo with them <3

I've had two different tattoos done here and it was a great experience both times. They make sure you are well taken care of. Their work is amazing. The atmosphere is welcoming too.

Highly recommend Kim for any small or large pieces. Her shop is beautiful and clean and the service is phenomenal. She was able to sit with me for a consultation prior to my tattoo and educate me on the healing process and ways to make my tattoo look and age as best as possible. Her staff is nice and helpful and Kim is patient and very friendly. Definitely will be returning to her and recommending anyone who wants a well done piece with solid lining. This salon is the best place for all your tiny tattoo needs! I've now got two tattoos (detailed feather and a cute and simple red spider lily) done by the owner herself, Kimmy, who is such a warm person to be around. Her and everyone working there are so friendly to make you feel welcome. The studio is nice and tidy with a very aesthetic wall for Instagram worthy pics. Each of my tattoos have gotten compliments on how beautifully done they are so that just goes to show the talent this woman has. I look forward to getting more pieces done by her!

I can’t speak highly enough of Kimmy Tatts. I have multiple tattoos from Kimmy and have nothing but great things to say. My tattoos all look amazing, she nailed them and gave me exactly what I wanted. From everyone I’ve talked to, her apprentices are incredible as well. She’s running an amazing business and I will definitely be back.

Kimmy was so nice and made this experience so great. I went with my three friends and we could not stop talking about how satisfied we were with our tattoos and our experience. If you’re looking for a fun, comfortable, and great environment this is the place!

Really not happy with my experience here. This is not a professional tattoo shop. I found out after the fact that this establishment is not licensed to do larger tattoos - which is why they only do small ones. I feel they should be more transparent about this. I have over 20 tattoos and have had many experiences and this one was just not it. I went here because someone recommended them for fine line work - the line work was messy and lacked consistency. They shouldn’t have agreed to do my tattoo since they lacked the expertise. Especially since it’s on my neck! It was also more expensive than many of my much larger pieces.(which is fine, I just expect quality work) Once the tattoo was finished they did not put aquaphor or anything on it - and I asked and was told that that is not needed and to care for it like a “normal tattoo”. Aquaphor is used to keep the skin from scabbing, which leads to the ink falling out. It’s important to keep tattoos moist so that they heal well. Kinda scary that they don’t know that. I will be getting the tattoo redone by a professional.
