Forever Tattoo

Amazing experience! I had a HORRIBLE first tattoo experience at a different shop. John made me feel so comfortable and so excited about getting future work done (whereas before I was almost turned off completely) His work and bedside manor were fantastic. In fact, everyone I met that works there was super friendly and genuinely excited about being there. I LOVE my new ink. Definitely recommend!!!

Can't recommend this shop enough. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Got seen for a walk in tattoo, traditional American style eagle that Rob knocked out of the park. I had talked a little about getting a Valkyrie sleeve done, and as luck would have it they had a free spot open next day. Rob whipped up a custom piece for me that night with nothing more than a reference pic and vague description. Next day he absolutely crushed it. Couldn't be happier with both of my pieces. I can't be happier with the tattoo I got from Zeke at Forever Tattoo. I walked in on a whim thinking about getting something with my wife's name on it for our 19th anniversary and, after talking to Zeke about options, figured out exactly what I wanted. Zeke did an outstanding job on the design and execution of this classic, old school beauty. I would highly recommend asking for him by name if you are interested in a classic "Sailor Jerry" style tattoo as this style is what he specializes in. My wife was very surprised (this was my first tattoo) and she loves it! Thanks Zeke!

Went with a friend for walk in tattoos. Both artists were friendly and worked with us to have the best experience possible. My artist was realistic with me about the idea I had and talked through options without being judging or mean before we settled on a different design. My friend got his first tattoo and the artist was very reassuring and patient. Both turned out great! Awesome, light hearted conversation and no rush to make sure we got something we would be 100% satisfied with

Chris did an amazing job of collaborating in what I wanted and more on a tattoo. He was very professional and very quick. I showed Chris a picture of what I want and he immediately got out his tablet and went to work. He showed me ideas and asked me what I wanted and what I liked the entire process up until I was out of the chair. I highly recommend Chris !! And did I mention I walked in with no appointment!!!

The detail in the tattoo Rob (painted) is beyond amazing. The shop was so easy to work with, easy going and comfortable. I truly appreciate Rob working me in, and though my story was sad, he showed no pity. He was supportive and treated me like my daughter and I mattered, present and future. I would willingly drive the two hours from my home to Forever Tattoo for future tattoos. My experience was amazing and highly appreciated! Rob was personable, relatable and professional all at the same time. It was a truly wonderful experience!

I live in Charlotte and came to Asheville on vacay with my boyfriend. We decided to stop in and get some tats; neither one of us could be happier. John did such a great job on his and Taylor did mine! Taylor is literally amazing!! She did such a great job on my tattoo. It looks so clean.. better than I even pictured what it would look like!! She was also great at talking me through the spicy parts of my arm lol I’d be willing to drive from Charlotte back to Asheville to have her do a bigger piece for me. Love love love her!

I have recently had a few tattoos done by Taylor. She is amazing, clean, and I am beyond amazed with her work as she continues her apprenticeship. I will continue to go back to her and I look forward to seeing how she continues to grow as an artist.

Rob was nice as can be, and put me at ease for my first tattoo. He did a great job with it, and it looks fantastic. Its only taken me a week to fully heal, just overall 10/10 satisfaction.

John is truly the best! My partner and I never come to Asheville without getting work done by him. Very kind and easy to work with, and has an amazing eye for detail. All around great artist and great atmosphere!

My husband and I road tripped on down to Asheville from Cleveland for a delayed honeymoon (we were married in 2017... kids) and while we’re here we’re kind of doing all the things we’ve talked about doing in our relationship. Actually having a honeymoon was the first thing, and then buying a proper wedding ring was also on the list (done!). We’d talked about getting tattoos together, although nothing super matchy, but still something that represented our joining together in marriage. We discussed the idea of combining the two animals our last names loosely translate into (raven and deer) into a new, weird animal. I drew something up the second night of our stay, took it into Forever Tattoo, and the next day Rob presented me with exactly what I wanted but was unable to get down on paper. Dude. He went out of his way to give some nobody pseudo-tourist literally the best tattoo in all my 13 tattoos. He wasn’t pushy AT ALL. He made suggestions and listened to my wants, and he made it happen! I couldn’t be happier. My husband and I are already falling in love with Asheville, but we would DEFINITELY (and plan to) come back so he can get his first tattoo. The line work is beautiful. The shading is beautiful. The shop felt clean and professional, and the other artists I met were so freaking pleasant and their work looked lovely too. They made me want to start drawing again. Like, a whole lot of stuff went down during this seemingly pretty simple process of getting inked up. If you made it this far, I couldn’t recommend Forever Tattoo enough. I wish this place wasn’t a 9 hour drive from me so I could come back, like, next week. Thanks so much, Rob. Have fun mountain biking!!

I did not get tattooed myself but my husband recently saw Rob for some work and he did a fantastic job. He put in way more effort than we even expected him to in order to get this presision piece just right, and we came expecting great things on a friend's recommendation. It's a nice place in the heart of downtown Asheville. He was very pleased with his experience.

Absolutely fantastic place!!! John got me booked and did my tattoo. Not only was he a delight to speak with during the process, he also did a fabulous job on my script for my forearm. Considering doing another saying on my other arm and I'll definitely be back to have John do it! If you're looking for a great place and a walk in welcome friendly environment to boot, look no further.

I Absolutely adore John - his work is beyond beautiful! He recently turned an "om" sign 🕉 into double hearts with an initial after my passion for yoga long died....today he gave me a sweet little grayscale Eeyore with just a hint of pink ears and a lovely edition of my sons name in beautifully written cursive. This guy is friendly, approachable, reasonable, polite, intelligent and an all around good human being. I highly recommend a visit with him!
