Just here to let everyone know that there is no such thing as a 4 star or below review for this shop. 5 stars is the only applicable rating for Edgar and his crew. My girlfriend and I have gotten multiple tattoos at First Class and have always been nothing but happy with the outcome and experience. This place is the BEST. Considering most shops book out for MONTHS and have small booking windows to even get on a schedule, I feel like I found such a little gem when I started coming here. Both Edgar and Mark have tattooed me, Edgar has actually tattooed several of my friends and family both by appointment and walk in. They are always so accommodating and willing to work and adjust aspects of the design, I couldn’t say enough about this place. They’re also cool as hell and just really nice and accepting and so much fun.

This is my go to shop in Raleigh. Mark has done four pieces for me. His talent is amazing & he cares for it to look good.. he takes his time, proper placement & sometimes adding something to give it balance. Edgar did my last walk-in tat, it healed great. If you want to wait 4 hours to be told your tattoo can be half done or finished for triple the price this place is for you. Took the day off work and waited around for 4 hours to be told he didn't think he had enough time. 0/10 Go to a real shop

Drove a long ways to get a tat... They said they open at 12, called but nobody picked up and they answering service said walkins, stop by.... get here and they're closed. TRASH... be professional

I got my tattoo here late last year. It is a very small sentence using typewrite font on my inner bicep. I must say, the longest part of the entire experience was just making sure the placement was right! After that, Mark went to work and he was done in under 45 minutes. He told me everything I needed to do, and my tattoo has healed beautifully. There has been no bleeding of the words (so far) and I highly recommend this place for whatever tattoo thought you might have! They do it all. The place is small, but very welcoming. 10/10 would come back again!

I stand by my previous review for your ridiculous "walk-in policies". Also, the passive aggressive and petty google review responses are more than enough reason to never use your shop. While you all strive in being talented, you lack people skills. Do better.

I have been going to Edgar for years for my ink. Not only is he incredibly gifted at his art, the shop is super clean and everyone who works there is really nice and professional. The shop has been getting busier since it opened up (not surprising, they are AWESOME) and their walk in policies are clear and very fair. An added perk: the insane amount of VHS tapes they have! It's always nostalgic to watch a movie the good ol' fashioned way while getting a tattoo done. I couldn't recommend Edgar and his team enough. They are the best!
