This guy is best artist ever! Thank you Ray!

I've got a couple tattoos from Ray, and he is straight up a great guy and artist. My favorite shop in Raleigh.

I’ve got about 18 hours worth of ink from Christy and Ray. They are AMAZING. I highly recommend. From start to finish, all of my ink experiences were fantastic and I never had any problems. I have nothing but good things to say. Please note that she is an entirely different person than “Catherine Alexander” who is involved in some pending litigation, so beware trolls that may be trying to harm her reputation by mistaken identity. Christy is fantastic!

I have been going to Ray and Christy for years and have always been over the moon with the work performed. I have more than 10 tattoos from Ray and 2 from Christy, all of which are gorgeous. I have the best time (even though the tattoo process is painful!), because they humor me with good conversation while I’m there. They’re both amazing artists with decades of experience. The shop is incredibly clean & has a great atmosphere. Honestly, they’re just the best tattoo artists around - they produce consistently amazing tattoos - period. I would never go anywhere else! You shouldn’t either.

Can’t recommend Ray enough. He and Christy are super nice and welcoming- shop is clean and has a cool vibe. But more importantly Ray’s tattoos are amazing. I love the beautiful colors and design he has done for 3/4 sleeve. Definitely get tattooed there!

I am posting this for my boyfriend Josh. He has been using Christy for 20 years and has standing appointments every 6 months. Over the last 3 years I have been so impressed with her work. He is always so excited for his appointments and knows she is going to create something unique and amazing.

I have been going to Ray for 16 years and his work is always top notch. Christy also does amazing work and getting tattooed by either is a great choice. Ray is my go to artist and I will continue to support this establishment because of their work and great business practices. Ray and Christy are upfront and more than willing to help with whatever your tattoo needs you are looking for. I will continue to recommend them to friends and family. I continually get compliments on the work I have and I always tell them that punctured tattoo is where I go. People should do their research before leaving negative comments and something they know nothing about and mistakenly think a lawsuit is this establishment. All the people posting negativity about Christy need to stop and make sure that what you post is actually about the person and not someone “you think” is them. Punktured tattoo you will continue to have my support and thank you for your outstanding work.

Christy & Ray are by far the best tattoo artists around! Ray did one of my first tattoos over 22 years ago. He did my husband’s first tatto and has now done several more for him. I then got in with Christy and now have too many tattoos to count from her. Christy is so professional and talented. I tell her my thoughts and ideas… And she draws exactly what I want into a beautiful, amazing piece of art. She just knows me and designs exactly what I am looking for. Most of them freehand right on my body, none the less. Her talent is undescribable! I recommend both of them to anyone in the area looking to be tattooed. And now I even have friends who come from out of town just to be tattooed from her. I have 3 more 3 hour sessions booked with her, so that says a lot also.

I have two tattoos by Christy and they’re my absolute favorite works of art. She is responsive, professional, and a creative genius. I love working with her and representing her art.

Best tattoo shop in town. I have been fortunate enough to get tattooed by both Christy and Ray and had the best experience. They are very professional and delivered every single time beautiful art pieces that I get to keep. Fully recommend it!

I was first tattooed by Greg at punkture and since have gone back for 3 more tattoos. I have a big session coming at the end of this month and recommend/pass out cards any chance I get! Beautiful work and great communication. This will forever be home base for me and I hope for many many more.

Christy Alexander is beyond AMAZING!!!! She’s f@&$ing magical! I’ve been going to Christy for 20 years and I will not go to anyone else! (Unless it’s her husband, Ray:)

I have 6 tattoos from both Ray and Christy and love them all. People are always asking me who did those, I tell them from the best and can't wait for my next one. Their shop which they designed and completely built is one of a kind. The 3 memorial tattoos I have mean so much to me. Just can't say enough amazing things about this shop. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Great shop, Christy is extremely talented and 100% original. I love my back piece and also the finishing she did of another piece that had been started by someone else. Fully recommend. Her color work is exemplary.

Ray Alexander at Punkture Tattoo is... simply put...amazing. He listened to what I was trying to achieve each time and then has designed tattoos that fit exactly what I was looking for. His artwork is amazing. Ray and his wife are professional and top notch. I recommend his shop any time someone in the Raleigh area is looking for an artist.

These folks are great. Christy does amazing work and has worked with me to figure out how to accomplish my ideas. I have had work done other places but Punkture has been my favorite experience. I looks forward to mt next appointment.

Ray has done multiple pieces for me and I've always left happy. Punkture is a great shop with two great artists. I recommend them often and won't hesitate to continue to do so.

I’ve not been tattooed personally by christy, but know people who have. And I’ve seen christy in another tattoo shop all the way back 20 years ago. When they left and opened up punkture, I went as soon as I could! I’ve been tattooed by ray, and Greg who used to work there. All of them are great artists and seem to be great people! I really like their shop a lot! P.s. christy is cool as heck! And from one female in a male dominated field to another… I’ve always looked up to her!

I have been seeing Christy for many years. She did my custom sleeve and huge leg piece, so we've spent a lot of hours together. Her work is absolutely gorgeous and she's great to sit for. The shop is well decorated, immaculately clean, and very professional. Christy and Ray take their work quite seriously and you can tell from their space and portfolios that they're true artists. Punkture is the perfect place for original custom work.
