AION TATTOO

Update 3/27/23- My appointment this morning was awesome!!! Iggy was super down to Earth! He 100% made sure I was entirely satisfied with the drawing and placement before he got going!! After a few suggestions, I finally got my piece placed exactly where I envisioned it at! He also stretched it almost the entire length of my forearm which is what I was looking for from the very beginning of this process. I will definitely be back for future work! Thank you so much! I really appreciate Iggy stepping up to do this himself as my schedule was not able to correspond to Dorian's! Update 3/22/23- The owner got back with me immediately to get my issue resolved, not only did he offer to refund my deposit, he gave me additional options so I can still have a successful session!! I have upgraded my rating accordingly and will be willing to submit a 5 star review once I'm done next week. One of their artists cancelled on me the day of my appointment (not even 3 hours prior to the appointment time). As of today (3/22/23) nobody has contacted me to reschedule. I paid a $50 deposit 4+ weeks prior to hold my slot for Monday 3/20/23. I'd like my deposit back. Thanks

Best shop I’ve worked with hands down. I’ve gotten tattoos from three other local shops and Aion was above and beyond what I expected. Iggy was so friendly and warm, and Dorian gave me three tattoos that I’m in love with. The shop has a fun vibe, lots of laughter, but so professional. It’s obvious how much these artists care about the art they do, and are so easy to work with. Already recommended this shop to multiple friends and can’t wait to set up my next appointment! Over the Thanksgiving holiday I had the opportunity to visit AION with my siblings. We scheduled a sibling tattoo session with Iggy and Dorian. It was such a wonderful and positive experience. I have only one other tattoo that I got 20 years ago. One of my brothers hadn't been tattooed before. Iggy and Dorian and their apprentice, Alanna, walked us through each step. They were kind, curious, and friendly. The cleanliness of the salon and each station is impeccable. They all took expert care to make sure everything was organized, sanitary, and sterile. I don't live in Columbus but considering having this team do another tattoo for me when I visit next. If you are looking for an artist/tattoo studio for your first or fortieth tattoo I can't recommend the team at AION enough.

This business right here is growing in so many great ways from iggy all the way to his apprentices- -Alanna keep working girl 🙌🏽🙌🏽. Iggy was amazing during the whole entire process! He said from the beginning to “trust the process” and I’m so incredibly happy that I did! I love to hear that my artist wants to take time on my piece so it heals correctly. Not only does he care about my healing time but his staff is incredible! Dorian and iggy constantly make it seem like you’re at home with so many humbling comments and great personalities! Who could also forget all of Dorian’s doorway dancing scenes😂. I cannot wait to see what he comes up with next and my current one to be healed! 🤍

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! I never felt more welcomed and at home here. Iggy and his artists are truly experts in what they do here from the moment your working with them to create the tattoo you want all the way up to and beyond the healing process. The shop is cleaner then most doctors offices and it’s bright and vibrant. With all genres of music you would like to listen to while getting your art done to even watching a show the experience you will receive here is one you will never forget.

I have been a customer of Iggy for several years. His work is detailed and thorough, and the results speak for themselves. Pictures are worth a 1000 words as they say. Iggy did a phenomenal job on my hand tattoo! He is exceptionally detailed and takes his time to ensure accuracy even in the shading. I highly recommend him!

I can’t say enough good things about Iggy. I recommend him any chance I get :) I came to Iggy with some photos of flowers, a story to tell, and a desire for a black and white tattoo. He took my puzzle pieces and created something that felt like it belonged on my body. He is an amazing artist and it’s clear when you see his work the pride he puts into each piece. His talents extend beyond being a great artist - he was able to tap into what I was wanting to portray through my tattoo and bring it to life. To me, that really set him apart. Not only does Iggy make sitting for hours at a time and getting poked with needles enjoyable by being a top-notch human, his work is truly incredible. I’m beyond happy that I got my first tattoo at AION TATTOO. Iggy is not just any tattoo artist. It was a great experience working with someone so genuine, caring, and thoughtful. He was so patient and made me feel at ease considering it was my first tattoo and it was a really big deal for me. He took the time to make sure he understood my vision and what I wanted bringing my tattoo to life. The end result was more than I could have hoped for and I can’t express how much I love it. The staff at AION TATTOO is amazing! They are extremely passionate about their art, and make the safety of their clients their top priority. I spoke with Iggy over email. Out of the handful of artist he was the only one to get back with me even though he’s busy with clients was still nice enough to take the time and answer my questions. Educate me and offer to refer me to an excellent tattoo artist.these are the kind of people you want to work with. Someone who takes the time and is passionate when money isn’t a factor or hasn’t even been discussed yet. Just the love of art and helping people.

I met Iggy Sweeney back in 2006 when he gave me my first tattoo of my first child’s footprint on my back. 15 years, another child and several tattoos later we are still at. Just finished up a half leg sleeve this year and starting an arm sleeve with him soon. I won’t go anywhere else for my tattoo art work. See you soon Iggy!

I have been fortunate enough to be tattooed by both Iggy & Meg. They are both not only excellent artists but could not be kinder people & more of a pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail & dedication to their craft is truly 2nd to none! I can’t recommend them enough!
