Spaded and Jaded Tattoo

Great bunch over there, my son and I both had great experiences and look forward to working with our artists (Charles and Pete).

Hands down the nicest tattoo shop Ive ever been in!

Was in with Cindy earlier this week, first time at spaded and jaded but had been following and admiring her work for a long time. Needless to say she is so amazing at her work, the poinsettia she did for me looks incredibly detailed and beautiful it’s everything I wanted, also allowed her to come up with and freehand some filler floral pieces around it to finish up my half sleeve, she blew it out the park! Didn’t rush at all, made sure placement was perfect for me and really cared about what I wanted. 10/10 loved her and the front staff for making it easy!

Seems like a really clean shop and the receptionist is friendly - went for a walk in, was told first come, first served but after waiting 1.5 hours and watching 4 other people walk in after me get seen before me, we decided to leave. Receptionist confirmed FCFS but stated the artists were nit picky and choose what goes next. Probably best to book an appt for make sure you have plenty of time available!

If you were looking to support an individual during their tattoo, this is not the place. They do not allow anyone near the person getting work done and you must wait at the front lobby. Management gives none and neither does the lady behind the front desk. Shortly after posting this review, a new reviewer quickly posted a five star review. Unprofessional for a business to post fake reviews on their behalf. Pete (the goat) did an outstanding job with the tattoo. He was easy going, and friendly.

Pete and Pete are Rockstars both their styles are incredible. I live 12 hours away and I'm coming back just to work with them. Top tier artists. Highly recommend 👌

James is the best tattoo artist I have ever had hands down!!! He was super cool and down to earth and even funny! He kept my mind off the pain and did an amazing job!! I can't wait to work with him again real soon on a nice cover up we are planning! The atmosphere is a vibe as well!! Love my new tattoo!!! Definitely recommend this shop!!!!!

Went there talked with Charles showed him what I wanted told him add his own touch and trusted him with him and he didn’t disappoint for sure going back to him when I get another one.

This is the only shop my wife and I will step foot in. Zach is our artist. He's the man with the master plan. I'm grateful for him.

So many great artists to fit anyones needs and style. They are busy so expect a wait. I was tattooed by Pete Craig and he was great! Even tattooed over my scar with no hesitation.

Cindy's work is stunning! She gave me and my daughter beautiful tattoos! They are even more of what we wanted than we knew we wanted! She is calming and made me less nervous. She is great!

I wasn’t completely satisfied with the end results and asked Jake if he could modify my tattoo. He said “I can, but I’ve already broke everything down.” Who wants to get a tattoo from someone that doesn’t want to do it? Thought I would go somewhere else later to get it like I want it. Checking it out closer after I got home and it looked like the ink was leaking outside the lines in several places. Thought the lines would be clean after it heals. Month later, it’s worse. Blowout is the term for what my tattoo looks like. Not happy with it at all! If you want to come out with a tattoo that looks like it’s 30 years old the day you have it done, Spaded and Jaded is your shop. You want detailed clean work, look somewhere else. I did contact Liz the manager (twice) and John Black, the owner, once. They apologized for the tat and said they would get back with me to set up an appointment and make things right. I never heard back from either of them. It’s been over a month since they said they’d fix my tattoo. Never a word back. That speaks volumes. Update!! It’s been over a year without hearing back from them. Maybe talking to the owner and manager 3 different times wasn’t enough. Maybe they expect you to keep calling and calling. Just keep waiting for them to get back with you. Or, maybe they expect people to accept the fuzzy junky tats they give, and move along. Please go somewhere else for ink work. Mistakes happen, but dang. Just to let it go without any effort to make it right? Happy anniversary to my Shaded and Faded tattoo!

James (@country_style_tattoo on IG) did the most AMAZING job! I’m absolutely in love with my piece. The session was comfortable and a ton of fun and I’m planning on going back. James was professional, communicative, and really laid back, saw a vision for my budget, and made it happen and I’m happy. Thank you, James!!!

Jay Combs created and inked an amazing memorial piece in honor of my sister. It was more than I could have imagined. I didbt want anything sad, just elements that represented our happiest times together. It is a truly remarkable piece. It means the world to me. Thank you, Jay!!

I walked in wanting some butterflies on my ribs and they got me right in! Everyone in the shop was incredibly nice and Jay Combs was the artist who did my tattoo. He did an amazing job I would 100% recommended this shop for your next tattoo if you’re considering it.

James was great! He kept me laughing through my tattoo session. The establishment was very clean and professional, definitely will be coming back for more tattoos!
