Literally obsessed with my experience at Gypsy Tattoo Parlor. Firstly, the fact that it’s female owned and employs all females is the best. The vibe and atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. I received a tattoo from Emily and it exceeded my expectations. It’s truly my favorite tattoo I have. I cant wait to get more done from her. The booking process was very efficient and effective. I felt like my wants for a tattoo were met exactly where I wanted them to be. Emily offered suggestions on placement limits based on longevity of the art and was great about checking in to make sure I was doing alright throughout the process. I felt very heard. It was overall the best experience I’ve had receiving a tattoo. Perk is that she has a grand aquarium with fish that you can watch while getting your tattoo. Very cool vibes. Very great time. 200/10 experience.

I was very excited to work with one of the artists here, and she claimed she would "love to work on this piece", however she the only date she could fit me in was over 5 months away. Now this isn't unreasonable, but I needed some extra time to think about it, and did what I considered the respectful move of asking if I could have some time to think. She said yes and gave me a week. I responded 6 days later (Clearly within the time limit she gave me) and said I was okay with that date. At this point, she waited 12 days before responding saying that she booked someone else for that time, and tried to blame me for responding too late. Having reread the emails, and shared them with others, everyone has agreed that I followed her instructions to the letter. Upon realising her mistake, she did not take the reasonable options of: -Rescheduling the other client who had booked later than I did -Offering an alternative date for me -Reccomending me to another artist Instead, she tried to shift the blame and offer no recourse for her mistake, much less explain the egregious period of silence between our agreement on the date and her later refusal. I believe them to be talented artists based on their previous work, but this behaviour was disgusting to see, and I recommend anyone else be wary when trying to schedule with them.
