Best experience, I honestly couldn't speak highly enough of this studio and the folks who work there. I have always been nervous approaching tattoo artists with an idea but Mariella was so kind and receptive. I sent her my ideas for a design and she brought it to life better than I ever could have imagined. Actually going into the studio was awesome too, everyone was so welcoming. I am excited to have found a studio (and an artist) that I will feel so comfortable coming back to :)))

I am a flight attendant and I had a long layover in Knoxville and decided to go to Riverside to do a very special tattoo: my grandparents names and some flowers as part of it ! I had the idea in my mind and I explained to Noah! Took 5 min for him to come up with a wonderful and cute design and he even helped me decide the best spot for it ! I really enjoy branching out of where I live to get new tattoos because taking day trips on off days from work has always been enjoyable for me. The first time I came to riverside was as a walk in, everyone at the shop was busy tattooing, but said they would text a group chat to see if anybody would want to come in to do a walk in. About 30 minutes later Phil was there to help. Getting tattooed by Phil was such a great experience the first time that now I specifically hit him up for my “day trip out of town tattoos”. Great tattooer, great person to get tattooed by.

I went into Riverside Tattoo Co. with my expectations set high, and they were met if not exceeded.Once inside, I first made notice of the aesthetic of the room. It was a very calm and pleasing combination of colors and decor and when paired with the inviting and 'laid back' nature of the staff made for smooth process. I might add, on the topic of the aesthetic, the house playlist seemed to be intentionally geared towards that overall calming demeanor with an alt/indie/psychedelia heavy influence. It was a rather enjoyable playlist so props to the dj! Overall I was more than impressed with this shop and will undoubtedly be a returning customer and would gladly recommend to any and all of my peers and anyone looking for some badass ink!
