Can't say anything about their work as my experience didn't go passed their counter. Before arriving my friend and I called to inquire about small matching tattoos, on the phone they were not specific and extremely vague about pricing so we decided to bring the conversation to the shop to discuss things in detail. Upon arriving at the shop we were interrupted mid explanation and asked to provide our IDs. We showed them what we wanted and were quoted $120 each. Now, these tattoos were all black lines, no shading, as big as a half dollar with no intricate details. $240 total. That is straight robbery. They will charge outrageous prices because they are often the only tattoo shop opened late in Galveston. Do yourself a favor and drive the 20 minutes into Texas City to Black Lotus Tattoo shop! They were amazing, Jacqueline squeezed us in before they closed, the shop was clean and the vibe there was on point. Black Lotus did both our tattoos for $120 total. So if you're trying to get a random tattoo with your bestie on a whim for a decent price, AVOID World Famous American Dragon tattoo.

Went in, charged too high of prices and didn’t have set prices, started to lower price for us once we questioned how high, drilled my friend for saying she didn’t want to do it because of the price because they do “so much better”, and then my other friend who wanted her friends with her for her first piercing couldn’t because they said no people back with her when getting a piercing, which I’ve done and many other people I know have done, gave us an attitude when we said we didn’t want to use their service anymore.

I had an absolutely amazing experience here. Before walking in the door, I had several ideas of what I wanted but wasn’t exactly sure how to make it work. Red helped make my ideas come to life. I went here due to not wanting to send money to a complete stranger online to get a tattoo.Nor did I want to drive all the way to the Northside of Houston. I wanted something else but wasn't willing to pay the amount mentioned . (Only because I never been here before ) So I wanted to get something simple just to see how the tattoo artist does, expecially since I have dark skin. Red did my Rose . My only complaint and why I gave 4 stars is due to the "ea" at the end the "e" is not connected to the "a" and the "a" is kind of spaced away from the e . It's a very simple fix (just need the e and a connected to each other) so I'm not really sweating it . I think he did great and I will definitely come back . Absolutely love my tat and so does my daughter ❤️ Very respectful , and friendly atmosphere..

Can’t recommend enough. I’ve been twice now, and will go out of my way to make sure this is the place I come from here on out! They went above and beyond when I got my nose pierced. Came back a few months later for a new ear piercing and they were still just as great. Amazing senses of humor and love the energy of the place! They are desperate for cash here. I wanted to change my time for a Tatoo but was not sure which day I could return so ask for my $60 deposit back. No signs anywhere to say it was not refundable. They just wanted to argue so I told them to keep it since they are so hard up for cash.

I was explaining what I wanted when the guy stopped me and said someone else was going to help me, he said ”it’s not that I don’t wanna help you but..” I said “no problem” thinking nothing of it. Im thinking Beautiful day In Galveston, no bad vibes right? Another guy walked up and asked him “you don’t wanna help her?” The guy walks away and with his back turned he said “nope” I was extremely uncomfortable and just walked out. Idk maybe he has a preference?… Edit to response from owner: The two men that you’re referring to, we’re not wearing face mask.. no biggie though. You’re loss and absolutely terrible customer service. Jokes on you guys😬
